An address book with tags and a search function would help me a lot. This is particularly helpful for filtering recipients with different email addresses for specific departments. The whole thing also as a button next to To: in the editor. Vivaldi Mail would be a little easier to use. (Translate with DeepL)

@dheffer You don’t need to start a new draft to edit a contact: Click on the contact Click on the Edit pane at the bottom of the Contacts Panel to edit the contact (if the pane is not visible, look for the separator at the bottom and double-click it, or drag it up) Alternatively: Right-click on the contact Select Edit from the context menu

In compose it does. In contacts it doesn't. When I'm looking for the mails sent to/from John private, I may have to click on 3 contact listings before I get the correct mails listed. The way name and addresses is shown in compose, is the way I think it should be shown in contacts as well

@antjewagner welcome to the forum! You've found one of the weak spots. The contacts management in Vivaldi is currently quite basic, focus is on the mail client itself. Contacts are only generated from your email database and whatever you add/modify manually. The existing feature request here -> https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/53314/contacts-carddav-sync is about adding real contacts management to Vivaldi. Please consider upvoting that request by hitting like on the first post.

@ayub mail should not draw that much power, from my point of view it's a bug. Please file one here https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/ A while ago Mail CPU issues could be fixed by doing a pretty hard reset of the mail index. Maybe this helps here too...? @Pesala, I've tested it once again and found the symbol is still added to the CC/TO/BCC fields. Below are the lines from the raw delivered message. To: =?UTF-8?Q?=E2=AD=90Maxim_Gonchar?= <...> Cc: =?UTF-8?Q?=E2=AD=90Maxim_Gonchar?= <...> Subject: test The reason I did not see it before is because Vivaldi Mail overrides TO/CC fields with the ones from the contacts.

@Hadden89 I am installing Mint daily, initially to get rid of trackers now my Mac fails(the SCSI is bust/ overheated). So I notice tiny things here. Like the front page has 2 download buttons.
