@Mick96 Vivaldi is very customizable. You can make it simple. Out of the box it take some hours to learn, but it isn't Emacs or Vim. Nevertheless, there are other options for your personal use case of "simple private browsing". For example, Brave or Firefox. Nevertheless, make sure of explore all that Vivaldi has to offer. Not if Firefox nor in Brave you can take notes in markdown in a page, at least not natively without (potentially dangerous) extensions. Brave have implemented AI, and I dont like it. Brave is mixed with Crypto, and I dont like it. Although I know is it a personal decision, i agree totally with what Vivaldk have said of implementing AI (tldr, they will not, it is just a hype with more bad things that good ones). Firefox is Gecko, so basically, insecure. Vivaldi is chromium, so basically, secure. Really, make sure to look for everything Vivaldi has to offer before leaving. I leaved one time, but returned some days after. Vivaldi beats every other browser in every aspect!
