@mashallah I have no idea what it could be, as i tried on my Debian 10.9 KDE 5 Plasma and all was nice with you extensions you told been broken.
I fear you have to report as a bug and give the Vivaldi devs a step-by-step description how they can reproduce the issue. Report.
@thenchanted said in Browser didn't sync my data to new Pc:
KeePass supports import of Chrome Passwords CSV files so importing is relatively easy. I just use it for backups of passwords I export maybe once a month or so, I don't use it to fill out login forms.
@jph1 So what you need to do is go ahead and sync at home, let it "empty" the data set, and then close the browser and copy just the data files from the saved Default folder into the in-use data folder. These files will be bookmarks, history, login data, cookies, Sessions (folder), Extensions (folder), Extension Rules, Extension State, Favicons and Notes. Then when you re-open the browser, it will update the sync server with all of your home data, so that when you go into the office and fire that instance up, it will fetch all of that data from the server.
Okay hello again. After trying it multiple times it finally worked. I knew it was going to work this time, because last time when I was having issues, on my new machine, I put a profile icon (there wasn't one before). So when I got back up on my old machine just now, I saw the profile icon appear. I tried to sync it once more and I saw the white cloud come up on the right. So I went to my new machine and did it and all my tabs and Speeddial is back. Phew. I was getting a bit worried there! Thank you everyone for your help and responses.
