Yup, it turns out the problem was on my end, I use popfile as a message classifier, and it looks like the SSL module somehow corrupted. A re-install of the SSL bits looks to have solved the problem.
I was also fooled by not being able to ping pop3.vivaldi.net.
Sorry to have been a problem, and thanks for confirming it was my fault 😞
@inclement said in How To Display Calendar and Mail in 12 Hour Format Time?:
I found it under Settings > General > Language. Not sure why it'd be in a different place for me, but it is.
Oh, well, maybe because the original post was from 10 months ago and it's been moved in the meantime...
Sorry. I got to this thread via a search, not the chronological forum listing, and didn't notice the date.
That said, it doesn't work. Mine's set to "Inherit from Operating System," and it's not doing that.
This is still true, though.
@pesala said in Spelling as you type not working:
@troypulk Spell-check in Webmail is enabled from the toolbar to underline text as you type.
Spell-check in Vivaldi for any text area is enabled from the context menu.
Can you show me?

Ok, I got it.
Disabled all extensions and sending messages worked. Then I enabled one after the other and tried to send a message via the web client.
A dark Mode extension, even if it is not switched to dark mode, but only installed and activated, breaks it immediately and it gets stuck on sending message.
It's hard to switch definitely to other email services (even free!).
Especially if you've been using Gmail and Hotmail for years!
You may convinced me to take that definitive step to V.
But agree with you about Proton issue.
Crypto is likely destined to fail.
Brendon O'connell has put that issue into perspective recently and it doesn't smell good (sorry Brave!).
@lonm said in adding multiple email accounts to vivaldi mail:
If you mean the mail client that is built into the vivaldi browser, it's not fully ready yet, and will come in time.
If you mean the webmail, that can be accessed here: https://mail.vivaldi.net/webmail/ though I don't think it supports any other accounts than your default vvialdi.net account.
It would be handy to access multiple Vivaldi account in webmail.
Edit: Darn, this likely won't happen:

@PC64 some users have misused this feature in a very bad way which damaged Vivaldi's reputation greatly. For that reason we had to remove it.
I wonder what the misuse was.
Hi, it only open a notification pop up in Vivaldi per default, you can set a sound in the Calendar settings if you like.
I sync it with Android OneCalendar and I get a notification there, too.
@dbouley Yeah, this will not solve my problem I think
Originally, my problem is with BlaBlaCar account.
When I click in an option to send me an e-mail, with Vivaldi doesn't work, but when I changed the e-mail to Yandex, it worked well
So, an advice for Admins, Staffs or Moderators reading this, check the compatibility of Vivaldi Webmail with BlaBlaCar.
@DanielleMartins If it's a brand new account, then logging in to webmail can fail if you haven't verified your phone number yet.
In case login fails even after verifying your phone number or somewhere else on Vivaldi, please tell me which service you're trying to log in to and what the full error message says.
Often, when an email is not delivered, the mail servers on the sender side have been misconfigured and are not up to the common standards we adhere to. But there could be other reasons. To find out more, please send us a message on https://help.vivaldi.com/services/webmail/troubleshooting-webmail-issues/. Don't forget to include the sender email address and time frame, when you expected to receive the email(s).
