Running multiple copies of Vivaldi on OSX
-
Something a little bit different for the blog today. This is a small trick for our OSX users to allow them to run multiple versions of Vivaldi on OSX on the same machine, side-by-side.
-
Nice! +1 for this feature!

Looking so forward to the next snapshot and towards stable. When is the next SS?
-
-
As always, when it's ready. But seeing a new SS every week is like a treat. Can't wait to see what the next one has.

Hi Dobs. It seems like you are using UI Zoom. Can you go to Settings -> Appearance -> 'User Interface Scale' and set it to 100% (reset). Does that help?

Thx!!!

The terminal thing won't work for me!
-
Very easy trick for most Linux programs (need to test for vivaldi):
HOME=$HOME/mysecondhome myprogrammthis redirects all path to a subfolder in your home, as each program needs to respect it, because it cannot know if you have /home/user or /users/u/username as your home folder.

Are the terminal instructions above still valid? It says "issue the commands below" but only shows one command, which doesn't work. I assume the formatting got messed up?

Really grateful for this work thanks
