Stop selecting URL when click onto URL box

Hello, could you, please, make option to stop selecting URL when clicking into URL box? Selecting it automatically disables option to paste previously selected parameters at the end of url by mouse middle click. It is very annoying and for web developers very unfriendly. Thanx

Never thought of that behavior before but I do kinda like it. This is the challenge for us developing Vivaldi, there are so many opinion about our seasoned users that we won't have room for all the options required to please all! Not sure about this one though. Maybe others can chime in there and let us know if you like the current behavior where the URL is selected when you click in the URL box?

Other browsers (e.g. Chromium) handle this by not copying the automatically selected address bar text to the middle-click clipboard. Only copy the text that the user manually selects.
Already discussed here and here.
EDIT: Now that read this more carefully, it's a related but different issue. Nevertheless, Chrome for example doesn't copy the address just by clicking on the address bar even though the address gets selected.

I definitely emphatically unambiguously want the current behaviour to continue please. Any alteration to this should be as an option; whilst the OP's subject-line did not state Option [which thus horrified me], his/her actual post-body did mention Option. Phew.

Old Opera didn't select URL (if I remember), or if select, didn't put it to middle mouse clipboard. Current Vivaldi's behaviour is simply replacable by doubleclick to URL box but with this behaviour I must touch keyboard and press Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+V. Comparing this two behaviours - doubleclick is much more easier and faster.
