Vivaldi launches its first beta

Thanks Ayespy.
One last thing I need to know and then I might be satisfied for a while: would they skip chromium 46 and go straight for 47 as 46 is now in Opera stable and 47 is in development?
-
Couldn't predict that. I suppose it's not out of the question.
-
Thanks Ayespy, you answer all my questions. That should do it for a while.
Right now, on Android I'm using Chrome Dev, and its using chromium 48(as its Chrome 48). That would be Alpha. And I think Opera 33 stable is out now, which uses chromium 47, so if they're smart they could use 47 or 48.

@Wrakor:
For the love of god, just add favicons to bookmark folders already! Is it that difficult to add such a basic feature?? Add also Drag and drop and add the ability to Right Click on and Make The Context Menu Available. Thanks again.

Probably you got so many dislikes because of your post's formatting. Poor English is rarely a problem unless it is really incomprehensible.
1. Don't shout — use of CAPS LOCK is regarded as shouting to get attention.
2. All bold text is not quite as bad as all caps, but it is meant for emphasising a few words, not an entire sentice.
3. Coloured text is also distracting. If used in moderation, text formatting and bullet points make your message easier to read and understand. Nearly everyone on blogs and forums is in a hurry, so presenting ideas concisely is preferable to long posts.
Anyway, this blog is not the best place for feature requests.
Please use the Vivaldi Forum for that. -
I think this must be something affected by your mouse settings. I don't see much difference between Opera 12.17 and Vivaldi — both can autoscroll really slowly, at least 15 seconds for a screen full of text.

Hello Vivaldi!
One small glitch visualizing the OpenBSD manual pages: http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/man.cgi/OpenBSD-current/man4/pf.4?query=pf
The text essentially reflows to a very small column. I see the width property of div.mandoc in the css is set to 102ex, so it might well be a problem with the site.
Oddly enough, no issues with firefox! -
"Find in page" is not working for sheets on google drive (when I open them online). Does not find anything.

resizing browser look like this!!!! https://imgur.com/oRcsbGp

I have this exact same problem, using W8. Previous version worked just fine but after updating I cannot see the stream, just a black screen. I've tried removing all extensions but still doesn't work
-
Type some worlds in adress bar, a list shows, click in one, nothing happens.
-
Congratulations!!!
It's my main browser for more then 6 months.
Regards! -
I just discovered Vivaldi yesterday and it made my day. I have been a fervent Opera user since 1998 but their recent change of direction left me with no real alternative in terms of user experience and usability. But this is over now, thanks to Vivaldi's team.

I have a strange bug:
I always have 3 pinned tabs. When there are no unpinned tabs switching between tabs by clicking on a tab is really strange (may be with one selection delay). No problems with Ctrl+Tab though. -

I can't disagree more; If you need to log-in, enter e-mail addresses, or your Name or postal Address, then the process become incredibly fast;
I really don't see what is not to like. -
Thank you for your personal reply. It is greatly appreciated

I can't disagree more; If you need to load, Name, Address, e-mail
Address, etc., etc., then it provided a really quick means to process
the information; Really don't see, what is not to like. -
Are the contents of the tabs the right ones or are they swapped? If swapped then that's a known bug when all tabs are pinned.
