Snapshot 1.0.111.2 now with experimental 64-bit Windows build and more language support
-
Hey,
This week, we've included a test-build for 64-bit Windows for you guys to play with. Please remember that not all plugins will work with this version as you need 64-bit version of the plugin as well.
We've also added some more languages in this build. Thanks for all the volunteers that helped us to get those new languages supported.

Great! Keep up the good work!
-
Thanks guys.
-
64bit version? Great!!!
-
Thank you Vivaldi Dev Team!
-
Runs a lot better now! Thanks!

Great! But the issue with the mid-click on Speed Dial is still present. It'll probably go away if I reset the user settings, but that would mean losing all my SD data, and it's a pain to create another one, so please fix that. Also, I tried resetting the user settings in the previous build, but the issue persisted - it was gone for a while, but soon came back as I created another Folder on the Speed Dial.
And as always, Youtube videos that cannot be rendered at more than 360p.
Great work on keeping the weekly builds, nonetheless. Hope to see a stable version soon!

Indeed, as soon as they got bookmark sync in place I'm moving to Vivaldi

Hello and thanks for the new version.
Ctrl + Z does not work yet.
Win7 32bit and Win8.1 64bit. -
Thanks!
Two small issues:
– Middle click on window buttons – minimise, maximise, close – should have no effect. That's the default behaviour on Windows (and we'll be able to middle click the upper-right corner of the window, when it's full of tabs, to create a new tab).
– Also present in the previous build: there's "*/" on empty SD thumbnails.
-
Did you try to reset your keyboard shortcuts settings?
-
Yeah! Glory for x64!
-
Why the 64bit version installed in "Program Files (x86)" folder? :?::shock::?:
-
You - guys - are - just- Awesome. Thank you, really a lot, for your effort.
-
Great job but i still miss the option to have aero on it.

Ok, I believe I've found what causes the middle click to stop working on the Speed Dial screen. Apparently, it's an issue with the number of dials. I haven't yet determined the exact number, but I believe the bug kicks in when the number exceeds the screen size and the scroll bar appears. Please, check it out.

Thank you for the build,

Nice, I really love the pace of the updates.
Same question as weril, is 64bit install in "Program Files (x86)" a bug?
What would happen if I changed it to "Program Files", would it be able to pick up my favourites? I'm using Vivaldi as my main browser atm and even though I understand there is a risk of loosing data due to the test versions, not having to input them again would be nice
I guess basically my question is, what is the best way to move to the 64bit test version?

Check the about page, if the ua-string has: Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64 then it's 64.. If it rather has wow its 32

When I close Vivaldi, the processes keep running in the background (task manager). So I cannot start Vivaldi again. I have to manually kill the processes - every time.
Same issue in previous snapshot.Win7x64 - Vivaldi x32
