Address bar hide
-
Maybe I'm doing it wrong but one thing I've always wanted in a browser is to be able to hide the address bar and still be able to leverage the ctrl-l and ctrl-k for address bar and search. Does this not work in Vivaldi. I'd also like the same functionality and the F11 fullscreen mode. Let me know if I'm doing it wrong or if there's a feature request process. Cheers! Mike

Stumbled onto this post while researching the same thing, this would be greatly appreciated

@dLeon Thanks, I stumbled onto that setting but that still requires you to perform three kb shortcuts in total (enable address bar, ctrl-l, disable address bar; a similar concern was voiced in https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/79920).
I'll check the feature requests threads to see if this had been brought up

In Firefox, I use Beyond Australis plugin to achieve this. It can autohide the address bar, showing it when the mouse goes to the tabs. Also, when you push ctrl+L or ctrl+K, this shows the address bar with the focus on the address section or on the search section.
Recorded this to show you how it works: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16592149/ShareX/2017/01/2017-01-26_23-06-28.mp4
I think this behaviour can be an option in Vivaldi.
