We'll compromise. Make it by parsecs.

Oh, ok then, but i absolutely draw the line at rods, roods, chains & cubits. One must preserve some standards!

Is that an american joke?
-
Maybe you can built in a speedometer in vivaldi or make an app of it.
-
@hjulben - It's a global joke based on the United States' stubborn refusal to adopt the metric system. Steffie and I are both descendants of the British Empire separated by a common language. She's Australian and I'm American. Her country, like every other English-speaking one, dropped the British system of measurement decades ago. We in the US cling to it because we're the "best country in the world" and "no one is the boss of us," and we're terrified of admitting anyone (for instance the French) could have ever come up with anything better than we have.
-
I think the god and the whether gods have much more power than the US people have. It has always been my dream moving to USA and find a job there and get a better life than I have in Sweden. Here no one wanna give me a job because I have a lighter disability and I am not that perfect as they want. Sorry but I have to go to bed now sweden have 8 hours time difference from USA and the time here is 3.15 AM.

I'd like to say "Come to Oz", but we have a totally ghastly misgovernment which abuses human rights & serves corporations & coal, not citizens... so maybe you'd be wise to look elsewhere.

That and it is/was an impediment to trade originally setup to make it harder for them pesky old British measurements like gallons, pints and such to be interchangeable the new American ones. That same mentality still exists today Americans are all in for free trade as long as they get the best of it with the rules stacked in their favour.
FTA is a raging controversy here right now. Our crap misgovernment is hell-bent on signing us up to the FTA, despite its egregious ISDS inclusions. We'd be mad to shackle ourselves to this major litigation liability, & i hope that the combined voices of citizens here outraged by this idiocy can defeat the misgovernment. Then again, a [whisker-thin] majority of my knuckle-dragging compatriots voted in this misgovernment, so i tend to despair.

What is FTA_

You're welcome. You would be welcome in Canada. We have good attitude towards people with disabilities (I know because I have one) and if your disability is light I'm sure you could find work. Good night.

How about leagues? Is leagues OK? Fathoms? Furlongs?
-
Oh i was going to include those too, but decided to censor myself in the interests of minimising the painful flogging of this poor metaphorical horse.

@MacUser2525
