Bookmark Toolbar
-
I have quite a bit of unused toolbar space but Vivaldi won't allow me to use it. Are there any plans to allow a user to use the entire toolbar? Please see attachment. Attachments:

There's nothing stopping you filling the Bookmarks Bar with bookmarks.
My bookmarks bar folder uses only about 2/3 so I added some more bookmarks to mail and local folders.
Just drag from the URL field Site Info icon and drop onto the toolbar.

That does not explain why I cannot add anymore to the unused toolbar space as seen in my screenshot.

That could be because the "next" bookmark title is soooo freaking long, it can't be shown on the bar. However, when that's the case, you should see a >> symbol at the end of the bar - which I do not see in your image. Perhaps your profile is corrupted. Your bookmark bar does not appear to be performing per specs.

Neither the bookmark(s) nor its icon is too large for the toolbar.
I have tried several times to add more bookmarks to the toolbar with negative results. If it is corrupted how can it be fixed without losing what I already have?

You can refresh your profile.

I have tried several times to add more bookmarks to the toolbar with negative results.Didn't work. Had to do a clean re-install. So far everything fits. Hope it stays that way.
Thanks for trying to help me. -
Wish I knew what went wrong in the first place other than a corrupt install.
Took me 1/2 hr. to "re-set" my bookmarks. In the process I lost a couple dozen bookmarks.
The up-side, I'm back using my favorite browser.Vivaldi should invent a way to lessen, if not completely get rid of, corrupt installs.
Also placing "import bookmarks and settings" should be in the "settings" and not
via the "V" logo. -
