Administrator: pls erase my post in "all plataform" place, i didnt see this one rsrs…thx...
Hi everyone...im new here!
Using vivaldi and loving it...but i think it should have 3 features im missing a lot...
The first one, is a restore session option, after a crash...mine does not crash yet (using just a week), but we know all browser sometime will crash...and at this time, i dont wanna lose all my opened tabs rsrsr...
The another request i wanna made is hide the tab if is just one opened. I had this option in firefox (does not remember if is native or extension) and i really like, should have here too.
The last request is in tittle bar, i can search for some word WITHOUT using the shortcut word (as a example, "d" for duckduckgo). its really annoyng have to put a "d" or "g" before type the world.
Thanx for all, about the rest of the browser, congratulations, its very cool.

Whenever you launch M3 Email client, do we get a notification in Action Center in WIndows 10 for new emails? I would like to be notified of new emails just like the built in mail app in Windows 10, because the app notification is full of bugs and I rarely get notifications.

@wyghthy:
感谢制作团队!但是我没有看到链接、地址栏和搜索栏新标签页打开,难道不考虑这个功能吗?
Please post in English, or provide a translation.
Thanks for the production team! But I do not see the link, the address bar and search bar to open a new tab, do not consider this feature?
Shift + Click on a link, Alt + Enter on the address bar or search bar.

Keyboard
-make possible to copy website URL with keyboard shortcut (i.e. CTRL+";")Workaround - Two step keyboard F8 Ctrl-C
Context meny
-add option "Copy URL" in meny during right clickWorkaround - (context menu)
On a link - Copy Link Address
On address bar (two stage) Select All; CopyIn opera 12 as well as Vivaldi I intend to do not use Address bar -> hide it (to reduce space).
So in when I want to do quick adress copy I rather to use keyboard shortcut (to be more efficent and not to do many clicks and things which put me out of context) -
When horizontal main menu is showing, would like to have drop down menus change as cursor moves over each heading.
Would be nice to have a selection under File menu to email a link from default email program (as Firefox does)

Well, there are two features I'd like to request. Personally, I think one of them, although not extremely important, would be quite nice to have for most users. The other one I don't know if it would be practical or not and if people were going to use it, but hey, it's just a suggestion after all.
1. Add a theming option to darken the accent color.
- This feature is available for when the window is on the background, but I think it would be really good to have it for normal use. I love the option that allows the color to change based on the website, but some of them are just too… bright. And if I open the Settings pop-up, the color gets a little bit more dark and that solves everything, it looks beautiful! And on already dark colors the change doesn't bother me at all. So please, consider this a possibility.
2. Have an option to automatically group tabs from the same URL.
- Now, I know we can group them manually, but I also think it would be quite nice to have it done automatically (as an opt-in option, of course), just like what happens with softwares on the Windows taskbar, for example. I don't know if it'd be practical to do, as I said, and it's probably not important. But to me, it looks like a good idea and I'd appreciate it.
Thank you for this amazing project!

Forgive me if these were mentioned before,
1. A way to sign in with google username to transport bookmarks from browser to browser. (Not even sure if this is possible)
2. Zoom can be set to independent windows rather than globally zoomed for all tabs.
3. Zoom percent similar to chrome. -
If I could ask for only one new feature in Vivaldi 1.4, it would be to add "Bookmarks" to the macOS menu bar. I have a lot of bookmarks (managed in and imported from Safari) and ALL can be accessed effortlessly in other browsers with a single click from the Bookmarks menu. Bookmark navigation in Vivaldi is extremely tedious by comparison.
(If you've withheld this feature because of favicon rendering glitches in the menus, it's not a bug in your code. This glitch has been around since the pre-release Yosemite betas; it affects all browsers (including Safari) yet Apple either can't or won't fix it.)
Thanks!

I hear that Google may remove support to the "Web apps" from the Chrome.
That is great opportunity for get more users to Vivaldi, if just you guys implement this feature back to Vivaldi, i dont meant that you needed to make "app stores" or something like that silly thing, but add a feature where users can make any webpage / web app a Window to their desktop.
In Chrome there is a option for that in the menu (add to desktop), and then it asks do you want to run it as a window (without browser components on it).
I have almost all of my desktop applications like that, Twitterfeed, Gmail, Music services and so on, and im now a Chrome user (every platform), but if Vivaldi add this feature to the browser, i promise that i make the switch

Vivaldi should provide better, immediate visual feedback when a page is loading. Sometimes there is no visual indication that the browser is working on anything, even though it is. Chrome solves this by changing the favicon in the tab to a rotating circle as soon as a link is activated. Vivaldi sometimes feels sluggish even though it is actually faster than Chrome, because of this.

Separators in the bookmark manager would be nice. I like to visually split my huge bookmark collection.

1. Opera used to have this ability and I miss it. We were able to save a session as the startup.
The current startup option under the Tools menu only saves the tabs but just dumps everything into one window without remembering previous window settings. A saved startup session enables us to recall tabs in multiple windows & remembers the window sizes/placement automatically.2. Would also like the ability to reduce a page for printing so I can fit everything on one or fewer pages (and be able to enlarge a page and have it flow properly if the text is too tiny).
Thanks for considering!

Have more than one selectable/definable default folder for the download manager, and be able to quickly pick from a few.
"This is where I want all the setup stuff, EXE files for example"
"Pictures go there".
"Documents go here".
Either by extension filtering, or, preferably, selecting one from a list of options a user defined, also with the ability to stop asking if you want to save there or elsewhere for a while (5 minutes after last download, go back to asking).Back in the DOS days, TERMINATE already had the extension filtering for downloads with Zmodem. Time to bring something like that back because it was useful.
Some OSs already have standards folders for that, which would seem to be sane defaults. However, I like to change stuff.
-
Do not reload tabs on going back.
I checked in Firefox 47, Opera 12.17, Opera 39 and IE11. Firefox and Opera 12.17 remember the scrolled position of the previous page after following a link, then going back. IE11 reloads the page to the previous anchor, not the scroll position.
Vivaldi and Opera 38 both reload the page and reposition to the top of the page.

Would be brilliant to have the same thing old Opera had for stuff like that, so you could use file extensions or meta-tags, and even have "open" function too, to automatically open some filetypes in a certain program, just like in the old Opera

Additional information in the download panel. Right now we get little information beyond file name and amount downloaded out of total size. It would be nice to see some additional information like total speed, a pause button, time remaining, and some easy controls. And right now if you get a popup to download something and you don't download it (cancel), it still shows up in the panel, just without an icon (which isn't obvious if you need to go back and look and see if you downloaded a bunch of files from a site and got them all, and these canceled files probably shouldn't even go to the panel).
So basically this entire panel just needs to be fleshed out and refined a bit more.
TL;DR
If I wanted any one feature, it would be a speed indicator. kb/s mb/s etc. -

That's a good one. I'd like to see this.

I'm enjoying Vivaldi so far, but when browsing foreign-language websites I'd like to be able to translate entire webpages the way I can in Chrome. I've tried to get the Google Translate extension to translate whole pages but I haven't gotten it working yet.

Please add a keyboard shortcut, or an opportunity for Tile pages to scroll through concurrent two pages when scrolling.
The problem is that if I have two pages tile vertically, and for example, compares the technical characteristics of the laptop, I move the first left page, and then the second right, I think that when keyboard shortcuts, or when holding certain keys will scroll two sides practical.
