Transfer of user defined mouse gestures
-
I defined mouse gestures in vivaldi and would like to have the same on my other computers. Can I do it with transferring a file where user defined mouse gestures kept? Is there such file or other way for transferring?

Thanks for the tip.
But that brute force method even will override all other settings, not just gestures.
I suspect the changes are kept in file Preferences in the default folder in user data. But same, even overwriting this file only it will overwrite all other prefs. Since there is not a separate file for those settings, it seems there is not a way to transfer only those. -
"But that brute force method even will override all other settings, not just gestures" –> yes indeed it would. I did anticipate that potential unpalatability for you as i was writing my previous post, but decided still to offer it as [a] so far i don't know a better method, (b] i'd hoped that for you the V sensibility might coincide with mine, which is that when i do copy V from my primary OS to many other OS's running in multiple VB VMs, i actually do wish to have everything identical; all settings, history, active tabs et al. Oh well.
Tangential FYI: Though one of my many VMs is Win10, & i used Win7 as my sole OS for many years, a few years ago i chose to flee from Windows to Linux for my primary OS [yes i know this is the Windows not Linux stream, but as i said, this is a tangential FYI]. The KDE Desktop Environment supports Mouse Gestures, & prior to V gaining all the ones i wanted [=happened only very recently], i chose to setup all these in KDE for use in V [worked great]. There was/is a specific file within KDE's config files that stored all my custom mouse gestures, & thus transferring all my Tower's custom mouse gestures for V was as simple as copying this file to the same place in my Lappy's KDE config directory. Simple. Obviously what you need is an equivalent file natively within V. I wonder if one day we might get it? Don't hold your breath i suspect…
