Well, here's a question for you:
I am opposed to transgender ideology. I have nothing against transgender people themselves. I believe they should have protections in employment, housing and public accommodations (like all minorities do). But I don't believe they have the right to redefine what "gender" means for the whole human race, or to tell people that we must use their special vocabulary when speaking about them, or for trans women to push their way into women's single-sex spaces, especially women's sports (thereby destroying the level playing field of women's sports), or that they should be influencing children to believe they are transgender when most children would outgrow that phase and become normal men and women.
Are you going to censor my ideas on your new social network?

@CalebM
Vivaldi Social server rules and general Vivaldi Community Code of Conduct/Terms of Use state that you should not post content likely to offend people based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, political views, etc. By posting, it's likely that your posts will be brought to our attention and we might have to remove the content and/or limit/remove your access to Vivaldi Social.
If you feel passionate about the topic and want to share your ideas, a different Mastodon instance might be a better fit for you. -

Let's stop that discussion now, ok?
@CalebM, bringing the topic of transgenderism as an example to a general question about moderation is ok, but continuing to discuss the topic itself in that manner, after we've stated that these type of controversial topics are not welcome in the Vivaldi Community, is not.
@DoctorG, I understand it's a sensitive topic and you don't agree with CalebM (to put it mildly), but please, if you want to comment, stay polite and respectful.Update: I have deleted the off topic (and offensive) comments.

@jane-n Yes, Ma'am, i try to be polite.
Such discussions would not happen if some people read and respect rules here.

@jane-n
As I have already said, I've got my answer. Your social media platform is for talking about lipstick colors, dress sizes, how to barbeque ribs, and all the other stuff that has no meaning. Enjoy.The pressing issues of the day will have to be discussed elsewhere.

@jane-n , I am not going to respond to the response to my intervention either, using it as a portrait of this person.
