[BUG VB-17780] In Bookmark Bar, opening all bookmarks inside a folder
-
Hi, At Bookmark Bar, if I middle click in a folder, it doesn't open all its bookmarks, like in Bookmark Panel. I always used this feature a lot with other browsers, but with Vivaldi I can't... Thanks!

I reported that as VB-17780, seem it's a regression.
The interested dev should be already on it as we speak.
-
Thanks a lot for your quick reply!
-
For the record it is already fixed internally. You should see the fix in the next snapshot.
-
I'm trying the lastest Snapshot 1.2.490.3, but I still have this bug for subfolders in Bookmark Bar.
-
Context menu and special button functions for subfolders on the bookmark bar do not exist yet.
-
The bug is fixed. Middle-click opens all bookmarks in a folder on the bookmarks bar.
Nobody said anything about subfolders.

Rulumbelino, just above me said: "…but I still have this bug for subfolders in Bookmark Bar"
Pardon my ignorance, but I could have sworn this was a reference to subfolders.

Do you know when they could be implemented?
-
I really don't. I kind of assume they must be a bit fraught to code, because it's been so long now that they have not been included in the browser - either that, or other features and options are just so pressing that they are not at the top of anyone's priority list.
But no one will be happier than I will to see them get into the code.

When I opened this topic I referred to a folder(any) in Bookmark Bar, not just folders in the Bookmark Bar root.

Ok, that makes sense, and maybe we can have some luck soon…
