Crashing Non Stop
-
Every since I installed the latest update of Vivaldi 1.2.479.8 , it appears to be crashing almost every 5min, to the point it's unusable. Never had this issue prior with Vivaldi not even when it was in beta.

I have version 1.2.479.8 (Developer Build) (64-bit) on Mac and it is crashng a lot also!!!

Does Vivaldi actually crash on your machine (i.e., the program terminates and an error message appears) or does it just freeze?
I am asking because a few minutes after I had updated to 1.2.479.8, my Vivaldi froze when I was scrolling down a page that I think was still loading. Something like that hasn't happened to me in quite a while.
I gave it a minute or two and then force-quit the app. When I started Vivaldi again, it would not create any windows and all the menu items were grayed out. Rebooting my Mac fixed that though.
I've used Vivaldi for a half a day since then and so far, that was the only freeze/problem.

a) yes, simply uninstall this version and install the prior one. Your profile will not be touched. (back it up to be ultra safe)
b) since this is not a global problem, the issue is probably IN your profile, so if you rename your "Default" folder, I'ma bet it goes away. Then you can move your bookmarks and other vital items back into the new "Default" folder that the browser creates when you re-open it.
