Differences between modes
-
I am very interested to know why Viavaldi took the decision to make a big difference between normal browsing mode and incognito mode, something that other browsers such as Chrome, Opera and Edge have not done, in these browsers you can enjoy the same features, no matter what mode you use, which is not currently happening with Vivaldi browser.
It is a big mistake that the developers made this decision, as it is forcing us to stop using the browser that we love (Vivaldi), to use the competition, which is already incorporating some of the features that Vivaldi has developed over the years, allowing us to enjoy these tools, even in incognito mode, while Vivaldi does not.

@zyteker Which features are you not able to use in a Private Window?
-
@zyteker It is not possible to use the reading mode with all the functions that can be used in the normal mode.
-
@zyteker If you discover differences between a private and a normal window, that can not be explained by the extra privacy of a private window, then please report a bug.
For instance there is no privacy reason that Reading Mode should not work in a private window, so this is a bug and you should report it.
Please read:
carefully and report the bug to Vivaldi bugtracker

Hello, thank you for responding, as for what you mention, for several months, I have reported this error, but although they have passed two new versions, 5.2 and 5.3, the error remains, so I think that Vivaldi Browser, does not really care about security, and that the reading mode is not important for this company, it is sad to see how the browser is giving a negative turn to the development of important functions such as reading mode.
