Hide the Window buttons while in fullscreen
-
This is a somewhat like a feature already in Safari: Whenever the window is in fullscreen the window buttons automatically hide. If you hover over the area where the window buttons normally are (the top left corner), they should reappear. This is something I really liked in Safari and I would love to see in in Vivaldi. Thanks for listening!

Necro-posting on my first post (because I can :face_with_stuck-out_tongue:), as I just realized that this has finally been implemented. I just wanted to share, as it really made my day to know that my first feature request ever wasn't ignored as I originally thought.

Sorry if I ruin your joy but I found one problem in the implementation. When you move your mouse cursor to the top of the screen, macOS's menu drops down from above and all tabs shift rightward to make way for the three buttons. That makes it hard for me to aim at a tab.
In my opinion, this shift shouldn't happen. So, I've switched off the feature by going to "Use Native Window" in the Preferences. Of course this setting is a bit uglier than Vivaldi's default design.

@ryofurue It's definitely not for everyone, but if you want to switch between tabs without having a shift, don't let the menu bar appear. The tab shift only ever happens when the menu bar appears, and that only every appears if you move your cursor all the way to the very, very top and let it rest for at least a second.

I know! But, it's more like half a second and on my big, big screen (2560 x 1440), I easily overshoot, when I quickly move my mouse cursor. I often move my mouse cursor super fast and near the destination, I adjust the position more slowly. On a big screen like this, that's more efficient than moving your cursor always carefully.
Anyway, my point is, instead of shifting the tabs to make way for the three buttons, the tabs can always stay at the same positions and then we can use the space at the far left for another purpose, which would be replaced by the three buttons when the macOS menu drops down. For example, what about putting a drop-down-menu button which would include "File", "Edit", etc. ?
