Shift+enter in address bar is broken
-
Hitting shift+enter after typing in an address (or search term) into the address bar opens a new tab, as expected - but it opens to the URL "chrome-extension://invalid/" and displays the following page:
This site can’t be reached The webpage at chrome-extension://invalid/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_FAILED
Is there any remedy to this?

Hello,
If you're trying to add .com at the end, you should press ctrl+enter, not shift+enter….
If that's not what your trying to do, could you please specify your problem?
Thanks~ -
Hello,
If you're trying to add .com at the end
Shift+Enter in O12 opens a link in a new tab

Well, this is vivaldi, not Opera 12…. :dry:
Excuse my ignorance, but I never used Opera 12 (cough cough it's a very very very old version :lol:) -
@Gwen-Dragon:
Typing in adress field and hitting Shift Enter to open in new tab does not work. That is a bug as i remember.
Ah, one of my bug pets: VB-9459 "Entering Shift Enter in adressfeld results in URL chrome-extension://invalid"I can't understand how the team would even consider a 1.0 release with such an issue in it, it's one thing to exclude the feature entirely but to include it and have it be completely broken? That's just not on.
Not to mention the damn functionality is already part of chromium, so at some point it's literally been broken by someone.
