did you miss anything? 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and immediately 5.0. Wow, amazing Vivaldi!
I don't know if Vivaldi follows semver; if it does, then something must have warranted the jump to 5.0.
-
Hi! As far as I can see, custom calendar colors still change change with each server sync (VB-83419, against exchange). Is there any update on that issue? If mail and calendar go stable with 5.0 it would make a not so nice impression.
-
Also, as mentioned for the previous snapshot, feeds still stop updating after some time, e.g., see VB-80090. For me, feeds did not update since Nov. 21 - even after deleting Browser data.
-
@stevekong: I'll test it with a new profile, maybe some leftover.
-
Is there a reason that the themes panel is locked to a fixed width
max-width: 660px
? This looks especially odd if using settings in a tab on large monitors, there is oceans of wasted space. -
trash can still nerfed but everything else ok so far
-
Any hint about new functions will arrive in this new version?
-
@djkano
theme engine and translations panel, see comments at page 1 -
@derday and individual panel toggle floating -which is very very nice-, sorting mail by columns, pop-up download, mail menu customization, and.. what else? ..brb
-
@npro
limited trashbin to 25(no offense, I miss the "bigger" trashbin, too)
-
@derday ah yes, yes

Hi,
I recently started giving your calendar a try and from what I see it is really useful already.
I have some complains/wishes though (I am sure there is a better place for this but I have no time looking through your forums or other contact pages. I hope that maybe some of the developers can at least read my 2 cents I got for you):
-
a bug(?): I added dates of an external calendar via an .ics file into my own calendar for testing purposes. It worked. I deleted that (recurrent) dates again in the calendar. They disappeared. But when clicking on the calendar icon in the status bar and choosing "events" I still see these deleted elements there.
-
In that "events" view there are also events listed that are not for today. I'd like to see a better visual distinction between events for today and for another day in the future.
-
please add a link icon in that events list (if a link is present in a date)
-
I'd like to have the possibility to add a note to a calendar task or date (calendar entries with a note entry should have a note icon. A click on it opens that note in the editor) For that purpose a special Calendar entry (with sub entries for year, month, date? (maybe based on user setting)) would be available
-
Copying dates/tasks in the calendar is clumsy: Select a date -> press [Esc] -> [Ctrl]+[c] -> Select another day -> press [Esc] -> [Ctrl]+[v]
So please make an option: open date editor only on double click. Normal click selects a date (i.e. for copying). -
In my opinion a better way to show a task has been completed would be to make it a little more subtle visually (like dates in the past). It is hard to read these in strike-through style.
Well, thanks for all your hard work. Looking forward to v5.0. Vivaldi is great!
