the list of web panels is now scroll-able.
Yay! Another CSS mod I can remove
-
@stardepp Yeah and then just scroll down the list
-
-
@ruarí I'm beginning to suspect that
somebody
is replying to the release posts BEFORE upgrading! -
-
@tbgbe Nobody would do that… surely!!
-
... popup thumbnails of a stack are being displayed in a row rather than a column with tab bar on top/bottom, (new design decision?)
... closing a popup thumbnail of a stack does not remove the popup thumbnail from the view,
... if you are on a tab outside of the stack and have the address bar focused, trying to close a popup thumbnail of the stack with the middle-mouse button closes the popup thumbnail but 1. the popup dissapears (for further actions) and 2. the contents of the clipboard are being pasted in the address bar.
Known or should I report them?
-
@ruarí Did your WP just die?
-
@tbgbe Before upgrading & before even reading the blog post.
Now all is fine. -
Blog is down now?
-
@Ruarí :
That did NOT work with new snapshot, vivaldi doesn't start:sudo sed -i '1 a VIVALDI_FFMPEG_AUTO=0' /opt/vivaldi-snapshot/vivaldi-snapshot
vivaldi-snapshot cat: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.18' not found (required by /var/opt/vivaldi-snapshot/media-codecs-fb632265f2fecc38ac8073b6c5cdcd939c2aa5674d468ff409f5fbcd2568c876/libffmpeg.so) cat: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.18' not found (required by /var/opt/vivaldi-snapshot/media-codecs-fb632265f2fecc38ac8073b6c5cdcd939c2aa5674d468ff409f5fbcd2568c876/libffmpeg.so)
Changing to
sudo sed -i "/if.*LIBC_MINOR_VERSION/s/'27'/'17'/" /opt/vivaldi-snapshot/vivaldi-snapshot
helps again.

@tbgbe Nope. Worked some minutes ago & RSS feed works fine…

No, it's all online:
-
@stardepp Back on now!
-
Since we are talking about web panels, this seems a great opportunity to start working on this request https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/24540/hibernating-unloading-web-panels-content
-
@tbgbe Yes, thanks.
Before, the Blog did not send any content. -
Please report.
I mentioned this in the thread from a couple of snapshots ago, but have been away and unable to report it in the meanwhile.
-
@pathduck: Only for a moment
(actually it was a caching issue but we are back now)
-
@andreyl: No, it does. You have not cleared the libs before starting the first time after install/upgrade. It should be the last time this is needed. I have a fix lined up for the next snapshot but it will only work if the libs are cleared.
Again, first remove the system installed one, like so:
sudo rm -rv /var/opt/vivaldi-snapshot
And then the one (if present)
rm -rv ~/.local/lib/vivaldi-snapshot
Don't just keep doing it the other way (your way). That will just mean you have to do the for every single snapshot from now on. You must clear the libs first.
Then, this:
sudo sed -i '1 a VIVALDI_FFMPEG_AUTO=0' /opt/vivaldi-snapshot/vivaldi-snapshot
Then from the next snapshot it should all work seamlessly.
