Issues with extensions
-
Recently, I have noticed that the extensions do not respond as well as they do in chrome. For example, I am having problem with getting browsec and onenote clipper to work. And moreover, the extensions can not customized in incognito mode. For example, if I have to block adblock in a particular website, normally a left click would show the option to do so. But, in Incognito mode the extension simply wont respond. Nothing happens when I click on them. And lastly, I have been I requesting for drag and drop functionality ever since the second technical preview. By drag and drop I mean, when I mark something and then drag and drop it to the tab bar, it should either search or load the url in a new tab. This functionality is present in relatively unknown browsers like ucweb and palemoon. But, the developers dont seem to be interested in this.

Thanks for your reply. And sorry for the late reply. I reinstalled vivaldi and now the extensions are working fine. And there's nothing intentional in being unpolite here; just wanted to get something off my chest. By the way, it was one of my favorite features. Any suggestion how my request can be heard by the developers?

And be aware: the Team, including Jon himself, have mentioned that dragging tabs to a new window is difficult to code, given that the UI layer (what we see) and the engine (what renders the web) are essentially unrelated, and the first of these is coded by Vivaldi Team from scratch. In the meantime, they have provided a context menu option for tabs to send each to a new window or a different existing window. They have specifically said that "drag to new window" and "drag to different window" will be offered when they can get it coded. However, this is not a high priority.
