Thanks for the new build.
Unsure if this has been reported, but the Windows 10 notifications in the Action Center are not behaving correctly, at least for me. This could be a regression, they used to work well for months, but in the last 3-4 builds they remain in the Action Center after clicked and you need to perform a Clear All Notifications from the Action Center. This has happened before and it got fixed.
Typically when you receive for example a YT new upload notification, or Reddit comment, clicking it (either the popup or the Action Center item) should open up a new tab with the contents and remove the notification from the AC.
Exceptions are RSS and download finished notifications which disappear by themselves after a short time. -

Update and restart did not restart Vivaldi, just closed itI have seen in the Mac forum some reports of what looks like hardware acceleration being broken on new Macs both Intel & M1

Still getting a full browser crash as mentioned in comments of 2355.3. Not sure if this is a known bug as of yet
-
@chas4 I have the same problem. Browser after start close immediately on Win 10 x64 (Intel).
-
@chas4 Workaround: Go to Users/your_username/AppData/Local/Vivaldi/User Data/ and delete Local State file. It'll reset some settings like experimental flags but browser will start normally with saved last session.
-
@merserwisab OK - It is the synchronisation bug that cause browser closing... Everything works fine till I logged to sync in settings.
-
Return bookmarks to version 3.7 functionality
-
@merserwisab: Please read the known issues from the previous 3 snapshots.
-
@adamvirtue8: Have you cleared sync data as mentioned in the known issues of that snapshot?
-
-
@ruarí: Thanks! this was exactly it. I misinterpreted 'Affected users will have sync crash when trying to log out and log in again' as a problem with a manual sync service and not related to what I was experiencing which was a crash on Vivaldi startup. Sorry about the confusion.
