Where do I read my RSS feeds?
-
So I figured out how to setup my feeds. But where is the reader? This could be easier.
-
@goldsteinmedia
there are two panel, where you can access the feeds -
My panels are missing. I can't figure out how to get them back to save my life. I have RSS feeds which I had previously added and now I have a mail account I was able to add through Settings but somehow the tabs are gone.
Using to "+" to add them doesn't work because they are not given as an option.
I'm going to try restarting Vivaldi all over again but for it's odd that they disappear like this.
-
Restarting Vivaldi did nothing, for the record.
-
Installed latest version. Still an issue.
-
Have you turned on mail, rss and calendar in the settings?
Edit: rereading your post you seem to have done that. Then the only thing I can think of is that you have a second browser window open. Mail and rss only exist in the first browser window
-
@teerexdad How many Vivaldi windows do you have open? Look in the other windows. Mail and Feeds only appear on one window.
-
@WildEnte Here you are! I was just coming back here to post the URL to the other thread where you pointed this out.
It is as you suggest.
Thanks for the tips and caring enough to respond!
-
@teerexdad AFAIK they are working on making mail available in all browser windows. Not sure about the priority or how hard that is to implement
-
@WildEnte Good to know. Now that I've had a moment to ponder it, I can see it's probably somewhat of a technical challenge for certain architectures.
Either way, I appreciate your assistance!
