Vivaldi insists on user/password for outgoing SMTP server
-
I am trying to set up Vivaldi Mail for the first time. On my home network I have a Postfix server running which does not require a password for outgoing email. It has StartTLS configured.
Yet Vivaldi Mail refuses to allow this configuration. When I leave these values blank it tells me they are missing. But when I add any values then my Postfix server sends a failure message that authentication is not enabled.
I don't particularly want to reconfigure my mail server just to trial a new mail client. Everything I currently have works well with Thunderbird, Mutt, msmtp etc.
Is there a workaround?

Same problem here. Any solutions?

Vivaldi does not (yet?) support StartTLS

@wildente correction. It seems that it should support StartTLS
