RSS Feed Date Being Parsed Incorrectly
-
Hello,
Currently, my RSS Feed is parsing the following feeds' dates incorrectly:
https://rss.sciencedirect.com/publication/science/10472797
The dates look like this:
As you can see, the dates are from 1969 when the posts were published today. Is this an artifact of Vivaldi or the RSS feed itself? Thanks!

@hopefulhero909 almost confirmed, in my case the entries are from 01.01.1970 at 1am, so ... significantly closer to 2021. Opera M2 shows the correct dates in the list.
Would you mind writing a bug report? https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/

Haha, 1970 is definitely much closer.
Sure, I will write up a report there on Monday. Thanks for confirming.

@wildente It’s the starting point of epoch (unix) time, that’s shown whenever the date cannot be determined. I have a feeling this is not Vivaldi’s fault, but an error or inconsistency by the site creating the feed, I noticed this on a couple of feeds too.

@luetage I actually should have known that.

@luetage Similar problem wit a feed from KIT. I can view the source of the feed and there is no date field, only a 'description' field with well formated html-data.
What fields would be expected?
