Does vivaldi have Auto-fill?
-
@Gwen-Dragon:
Did you test it already?
For logins? Yes.
For other data? Yes. See at chrome://chrome/settings/autofillI think youre in the wrong forum and talking about the wrong browser. I'lm referring to Vivaldi, not Chrome.

Settings which have not yet been incorporated into the Vivaldi UI can, in many cases, be accessed by going to the relevant internal page whose address begins "chrome://…"
If you are not sure where the setting might be found, you can type into the address bar "chrome://settings/search#(term)" and where I typed (term), you simply type the first few letters of the setting you are looking for - like "/search#pass" in order to find settings concerning passwords, or "/search#passwords" to fully manage passwords, read them in plaintext, etc.
In each case, even though the browser changes the address to "vivaldi://" you HAVE TO type "chrome://" initially if there is no corresponding Vivaldi internal page yet, or you will never find the setting.

And I don't suppose it would hurt you to know that Gwen-Dragon is a technically-proficient internal Vivaldi tester who knows what she is talking about. She is not leading you astray.

Ok I got it. Its weird because vivaldi in that sense looks just like Chrome settings. I assume that this is vivaldi's version of Flags.
@Gwen-Dragon:
Please test it before argueing that i am wrong.
As you are a newbie here you should be more polite if you want help.
You are the first on my #blocklist now.Since you know I'm a newbie you'd be smart enough to know that I'm new to this.. duhhh!
Please block me, like that will keep me up nights. No one is arguing except you. I'm relaxed. BTW, its spelled "arguing." I didn't know "technically proficient" devs made these many spelling errors.

No-one said Gwen Dragon was a "dev" - just a VERY good internal tester who is willing to help others on these forums.
Also, not everyone has English as their first (or even second) language; but even those who do make many typing/spelling mistakes when posting on the internet.
By "newbie" I believe Ayespy was referring to your forum presence, NOT to your technical abilities/understanding.

Again, Gwen is a tester (not a dev). Unless I am mistaken, her home language is German. That said, the majority of Vivaldi staff, perhaps all of them (and she's a volunteer, not staff) speak English as a second language. Their home languages range from Icelandic to Norwegian, German, Polish, Russian, Italian, Japanese, etc. Jon has assembled a truly international team. But offhand, I'm not aware that a single one of them is a native English-speaker.
Note: When, as here, one walks into a "room" full of people whom one has never met before, interacting well and having a pleasant time working on something together, it's my feeling based on several decades of personal and professional life that one can have a good deal of success, garner friendly and helpful reactions, etc., if one does not burst in the door with antagonism, finding fault and being insulting about the project upon which everyone is embarked. People who do a fair amount of alpha and beta testing have learned this applies to web-based communication in that environment as well. But not everyone is temperamentally suited to the cooperative roll-with-the-punches atmosphere of such projects, dealing with incomplete and sometimes bug-ridden software.
Just my $.02

At least for Gwen-Dragon English is not her mother tongue.
As for yourself, you're an arrogant douche with spelling mistakes.
Calm down!Spelling mistakes? I wouldn't talk if I were you. Your grammar needs an upgrade, especially with your poor sentence structure.
You calm the hell down. -

You calm the hell down.Please relax, take a deep breath through your nose, and exhale slowly through the mouth. Your username is koolx… so please cool down and chill a bit. Long-term posters on forums tend to be protective of each other, especially when a poster whose reputation and helpfulness are well-established is treated with "attitude" and dismissiveness - disrespect, in other words - by a newcomer. You've posted a number of times in various threads now, and those often seem to come with a harsh 'edge' to them. That's not the most productive approach to use in any forum. Please ponder and prosper from the advice.
