@stardust Sorry to ask such basic questions...
- did you try with a guest profile (or in a private window) to see if it works?
- would you have any extension installed that could be the source of the issue?
- if you're using Stable, does it work there?

just created a new profile, same problem. BTW it's linux version.

uBO
if you're using Stable, does it work there?
yes

@stardust Sorry, I forgot you're using Linux.
Worth asking a Linuxer to make the same test before submitting a bug report? -

Yep, waiting for the 1st Linuxer appearance in this thread
-
@stardust You're making my life difficult. Let me fire up the Mint machine here and see if it works in that flavor of Linux. It will take a little while to get everything updated, etc.
-
@ayespy Otherwise, we can wait for Australia to wake up and have a coffee
-
@ornorm Too late. I already hit the power button. I'm committed, now.
-
@stardust No, you're right. Doesn't work on Linux at all.

Two weeks away and no new snapshot…

middle clicking a mega.nz link to open in a new tab crash-exits vivaldi
-
@vulture I suggest starting a new thread in the support and trouble-shooting forum. Please provide a link for testing purposes, and tell us your OS and Vivaldi versions.
-
The new tab background no longer updates with the windows background if it's set to use the windows background. Please fix that to how it was in 3.7, it's literally the feature that made me switch to Vivaldi!
-
@damirh Devs know about this and will be addressing it. I have discussed it directly with the dev who has this responsibility, and it is something that has to be built in, newly, to the new UI re-write. There are a couple of things that have to be looked at with regard to how the UI relates to the background image, now that the whole scheme has been re-written.

Have other Nixers experienced a similar problem where multiple relaunches were needed before V-SS's HTML5 magically came good again?
Nope
