Two user friendly things I want in Vivaldi
-
1. Right click in the bookmark bar or tab bar to bookmark sites easily. 2. Jumping to new tabs sucks big time if you open several links with right mouse button. I would like to be able to deactivate that bug. I´m not used to the 2 things they are right now and I don´t like it that way. Please make it more user friendly.

Dude, your attitude sucks big time. It's not a bug to focus new tabs when you select "Open in new tab" from the right-click menu.
If you want them to open in the background then use the "Open link in background tab" option. Better still, Ctrl+Click or Middle-click on links.

Hi Vivaldi,
I downloaded this yesterday and it is a very nice browser. I would add one thing if I could when you come out with an upodate and that is Adblock Plus. I had it in Chrome and it's very good, I'm not used to all these popups I am now getting
Other than that I think it's very good and faster than Chrome and I loved Chrome for being so fast. Now I will use this as my default browser.
Happy New Year Vivaldi!

Hi Folks,
Thanks for your amazing work on this browser. I'm really loving it.
One thing I'd like to see in relation to tabs is an option in Settings to open links in new tab next to existing tab, so that when I click a link in a tab, it opens next to the one I'm on rather than at the end of the tab row.
Thanks.

As Vivaldi is based on the same engine, you can use chrome extensions in Vivaldi. Tools / Show Extensions / Get more extensions
Pick the one you want and click the "Add To Chrome" button

First of all, I'm a new member. Just downloaded & installed Vivaldi last week, and so far, I'm very impressed. Good work!
One thing has defeated me just a bit, though. I'm a little used to "tabbing" (using the tab key) to jump to the next link on a page (I sorta like mouse-free browsing). But I haven't been able to find the quick-command key combination to do this. Is that implemented yet? Can I assign the tab key to do this somehow?
The second thing is that I lost the window boarder somehow. In Fedora KDE (and all Linux distros, I assume) I usually send the open application to a different virtual desktop from there. Now, Vivaldi (and nothing else) appears in all my KDE "Activities" (which are distinct from virtual windows, of course). I can't tell if this is a bug or if I inadvertently hit a quick command key combo to do this. If so, how can it be undone?
Thanks.

Spatial navigation shortcuts are listed in Tools, Settings, Keyboard, Page. Click the icon at bottom right to open settings.
Enable single-key shortcuts to use A W D S

I don't think he is talking about spatial navigation, he's just used to tabbing.
You can change the behaviour of the tab key in settings/keyboard. It either focuses all interactive elements or just input fields. Try to change this setting.

Yes - that's correct, Luetage. Thanks.
(BTW, by searching the forum, I found the answer to my second problem - the one with the window boarder and Vivaldi appearing on all my activities. By clicking on settings->appearance and marking the checkbox for "use native window", the problem/mystery is solved).I'm not able to tab through links yet, though. Under settings->keyboard, I unchecked "Disable single key shortcuts" and under Full Keyboard Access checked "enable". No change. I restarted Vivaldi, but that didn't help either.
Something is happening, though. On a page like "Instapundit", which has many links, if you tab enough times (about 10 or 12) it will eventually move to something, but if it's a link, it's not underlined or highlighted. There is no action like you'd expect if the focus was on an active link.
