How to add SpeedDial (Startpage) to Homepage
-
I want to add SpeedDial (Startpage) to homepage. Please tell me the way how to add SpeedDial (Startpage) to homepage.

Not possible at this time. Home page can only accept a conventional URL, and Start Page is an extension.
You can, however, do as I have done and put a bookmark to Start Page (speeddial) on your bookmarks bar. The address is:
chrome-extension://mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli/components/startpage/startpage.html -

It is in fact possible to do this. I have set it up this way too.
To enable the homepage button to lead to your speed dial you need to write a html file and link to it from your computer.Open your favourite text editor, paste the script and save it as speeddial.html somewhere in your personal file system. Then go to vivaldi settings, and under startup/homepage input the whole path to your file like so
file:///users/yourname/write/the/whole/path/speeddial.htmlThis will enable speed dial as homepage. I found this tip half a year ago or so on the vivaldi forums. I am unable to find it right now, so can't give credits
Works well though and I definitely recommend it. -

It actually also works to just input the local file address as though it were a web address, like: "c://users/yourusername/filename.html" By starting the file address with c:// rather than c:\ and using forward slashes rather than back-slashes in the file address, Vivaldi recognizes it as a valid web protocol, doesn't prepend "http://" when you go to save it, and does navigate to the address as desired.
