IMPORT BOOKMARKS

I have just downloaded Vivaldi and my question is: Where/how can I import my bookmarks from Firefox? In the past I have found them imported automatically, or I can import them from the menu. Thanks in advance

Menu/File/Import Data.
Enjoy!

In later versions the option for import from Firefox not appear.
Your need to export the bookmarks in Firefox and then import to Vivaldi with the "HTML bookmarks file" option.
Another way is, instead of cleaning install the newest version (that is when the import form Firefox feature is gone), to install an older version that have the import from Firefox feature, and then update to the newer version.

Hmm. In all the recent versions I've used (including the Beta and current 1.0.330.3 version), the option is present at Menu > File > Import Data > the 'Import From' box choices include: Firefox, Opera 12.x, IE, Vivaldi, Bookmarks HTML file, and Opera Bookmarks File. I'm not sure why your Vivaldi is not providing that for you…

Perhaps the user is just reading too fast. It doesn't say "Firefox," but rather says "Mozilla Firefox. Maybe user just skimmed past it.

(Mozilla) Firefox is missing for me too in the latest version, whether or not it showed previously I don't know, but it certainly isn't showing now.
Menu > File > Import Data > the 'Import From' box choices include: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Opera 12.x, Opera Version 15+ (Developer), Vivaldi, Bookmarks HTML file, and Opera Bookmarks File.Win 8.1 x64

Thank you that's what I was looking for using Chrome and IE. Don't get why I didn't find it with forum search.

I'm using 32-bit Vivaldi version 1.0.330.3 on Win 10 64. What bit-width version of vivaldi are you using, and which version number? If you're using the latest, you may need to clean your profile to not interfere with the full display of all menu items. ON THE OTHER HAND - if you do not have Firefox installed in its default location, Vivaldi may not see it, and may not list it. In such a case, you need to move it to the default location OR, export the bookmarks to HTML and then import the HTML file.

I'm using 32-bit Vivaldi version 1.0.330.3 on Win 8.1 x64, and yes I do have FF installed in the default location. I was only confirming that FF isn't showing for me too, I'm not actually wanting to import any bookmarks from FF, there are so few now that adding them manually wouldn't be a problem, the only things I needed to import were bookmarks and notes from Opera which went smoothly way back when Vivaldi began. Firefox was only installed as a replacement for Opera Presto as it was the only browser I could customise enough to imitate old Opera and that isn't necessary anymore although I have found a use for it. If it wasn't for the OP I wouldn't have realised it isn't showing in Import Data.

This is my list (32-bit Vivaldi 1.0.330.3 on Win7 x64):
- Opera 12.x
- Mozilla Firefox
- Internet Explorer
- Opera Version 15+
- Opera Version 15+ (Developer)
- Vivaldi
- Bookmarks HTML file
- Opera Bookmarks File
"Opera Version 15+" should be "Opera Version 15+ (Beta)", i don't have the stable version installed.
Why is Vivaldi itself in the list?Good that i found this thread. So i saw i can import Opera 12.x passwords now That option doesn't exist the last time i looked there.
Edit: There is an option, but it doesn't work. No passwords were imported. -
I have a slightly different list too:

Those are the options that I Have:
Vivaldi x64 1.0.330.3 | Windows 10 Pro x64Opera 12.x
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Vivaldi
Bookmark HTML File
Opera Bookmarks FileBoth, Vivaldi and Win 10 are clean installed, and never get the option of import from Firefox. Instead, when I'm using Win 8.1, I have the option (Yes, Firefox is installed in default location).

The same problem. Passwords are not imported from Firefox. Moreover, after importing only bookmarks, history and search engines Vivaldi is no longer giving a prompt to save passwords(
