Left-click select to drag with the scroll bar only works on far-left side of scroll bar
-
When I try to scroll with the mouse, I can only do so if I click-hold on the left 1/3rd of the scroll-bar. All else doesn't 'see' my click-drag.... This is NOT full-screen, but 70% Also what is with the dark gray 'shrinking' scroll-bar? I have to be on top of it to make it wide enough to select/scroll.... Is there some config to make the scrollbar WIDER?? Win xp desktop 32

I cannot reproduce the issue here (on Windows 7 64-bit), Vivaldi 1.0.321.3 Beta (32-bit)).
The scroll bar is plenty wide enough (16pix) and the whole of it can be selected for dragging. It does not change size.

This is ver 1.0.330.3
mine is on a desktopWhen I mouse to it the 'narrow' bar widens to medium width, but I have to move my mouse to the leftmost edge of the medium bar to drag it…
the right side of the bar is dead.Interesting, works great in developer
expands & shrinks, but easy to grab/move

That's totally weird. What platform are you on, anyway? My Vivaldi, on Windows, installing every single build over the last year, has never done that.

xp32 sp3 desktop (NOT/never fullscreen)
Vivaldi 1.0.330.3
Maybe something I 'found' in vivaldi://flags ?? -
I see. To test this, I will need to unplug and move some cables and fire up one of my old XP machines and install Vivaldi on it. Can't promise I will get this done today.

Ayespy:
never mind, found it.vivaldi://flags
Overlay Scrollbars
Windows, Linux, Chrome OS
Enable the experimental overlay scrollbars implementation. You must also enable threaded compositing to have the scrollbars animatewhen turned on it 'plays' with the scrollbar
(it does say 'experimental' )
