Community Kahoot time - Week 1๐บ

Hey everyone! I've created a kahoot for you to enjoy Click here to find the kahoot
The kahoot is open untill 23.03.2021 16:00 and that's when the scoreboard will be available, but I might drop some teasers along the way

@Prebz That was fun!
7750 points, not great but OK. But is it really fair since you already know the answers?
Never used Kahoot before, I like that I don't need to register an account to use it
Question (spoilerd):
Also, to be fair, clock rate is measured in Hz so both GHz and MHz are perfectly valid answers, just different ways of saying the same thing
"The clock rate of the first generation of computers was measured in hertz or kilohertz (kHz), the first personal computers (PCs) to arrive throughout the 1970s and 1980s had clock rates measured in megahertz (MHz), and in the 21st century the speed of modern CPUs is commonly advertised in gigahertz (GHz)." -
@Pathduck Glad you liked it I'm gonna remove myself from the scoreboard before the weekend haha, it was mostly to check all the answers
-
@Pathduck Well
I claim foul!!
The unit of measurement is Hertz !!
kHz, MHz, GHz etc are not UNITS of measurement -
Clock speed is not measured in Hz or MHz, but is measured in GHz? Aren't they all the same unit?
Also, your European comma separators on the bugatti question made it seem a lot faster!
-
Funny game!
Supercool platform! -
Oh no, seems I have goofed one question So sorry about that!
it's question number 7, Gigahertz or GHz
-
@Prebz We know, we know. Ya Goof!
But you're forgiven :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_closed_eyes:
Just remember; when making questions for a community of mostly computer nerds you'd better get the tech questions correct
I mean, I couldn't care less what the max speed of a Bugatti or whatever is. But I do care about the measurement unit of clock rate
