VB-18767
Is it really so old?

-
@potmeklecbohdan: There was no specific bug for this quick fix, so we just used the bug number we had to request a feeds panel for the changelog entry. That was first requested in 2016.

(VB-77324) Incorrect Text String on Mail Context Menu
This is still an issue. The context menu in received mail shows CONTEXT_REPY_ALL, as the second item after Reply.
-
@Ruarí In my opinion, this sentence
[Speed Dial] Revert Start page changes to 3.6 state: more work on the new design will start again with 3.8
is missing the word ,,optional". What is the Vivaldi team? Have you forgotten that you advertise yourself, that your browser is full of options and everyone can configure it as they wish? Is this supposed to be a regression? You are creating one of the best browsers ever and by imposing a top-down approach to how it should look you are approaching the level of Chrome...
-
@Pesala Not if you reset the menu to default.
-
@pesala: At some point there must have been a typo in the spec file for context menus and you picked up CONTEXT_REPY_ALL. Should probably be COMMAND_MAIL_REPLY_ALL. I have added code that will highlight commands that are not handled and that is why you see CONTEXT_REPY_ALL. You can edit the local contextmenu.json in your profile and replace CONTEXT_REPY_ALL with COMMAND_MAIL_REPLY_ALL to avoid resetting that menu. Or you can delete the entry in Settings and drag a new "Reply All" from the Context Command list
-
@espen I just reset the default menu, which fixed the issue.

@guigirl Well, it’s my 6th-heaviest package:
$ pacman -Qq | while read pac; do printf '%s\t%s\n' "$(pacman -Qi "$pac" | grep -i 'installed size' | grep -oE '[0-9.]+ ([KMG]i)?B')" "$pac"; done | grep '[MG]iB' | sed -e 's/^[0-9][0-9][. ]/0&/g' -e 's/^[0-9][. ]/00&/g' | sort -r | head 836.15 MiB ttf-sarasa-gothic 636.04 MiB linux-firmware 597.46 MiB go 407.03 MiB libreoffice-still 382.05 MiB texlive-core 256.59 MiB vivaldi-snapshot 154.72 MiB inkscape 152.75 MiB qt5-webengine 148.85 MiB gcc-libs 147.08 MiB gcc
The script could be better, I know
-
@potmeklecbohdan lol
edit: Ideally this command should read (take account of) what kind of locale is being used, as everyone else except the british commonwealth (& US) is not using dot as the decimal separator

@guigirl said in Menu fixes – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2218.29:
So, you're a Goth?
Um… Sarasa Gothic / 更纱黑体 / 更紗黑體 / 更紗ゴシック / 사라사 고딕
-
@npro Just add a
,
to thesed
&grep
expressions, …? I still can’t believe somebody can use the computer / terminal in a language other than English. -

Another snapshot! -
@guigirl What’s the difference anyway ^^
-
@guigirl The interesting thing is that my download size is only 75mb. Apparently Arch adds 5mb of ransom and spyware (btw!!).
-
Can we expect to sync menu customization soon? It's very painful to redo everything on multiple machines.
-
@potmeklecbohdan I know already, that's why I wrote it . Anyway for those that would scream "don't work!" this would cover them:
export LANG=C; pacman -Qq | while read pac; do printf '%s\t%s\n' "$(pacman -Qi "$pac" | grep -i 'installed size' | grep -oE '[0-9.]+ ([KMG]i)?B')" "$pac"; done | grep '[MG]iB' | sed -e 's/^[0-9][0-9][. ]/0&/g' -e 's/^[0-9][. ]/00&/g' | sort -r | head
(or
export LC_NUMERIC=en_GB.UTF-8;
if you don't want to temporarily change your terminal language) -
@potmeklecbohdan: Yes, especially when for English one only must type slowly and loudly enough.

@boruta
Hi, make sure a Vivaldi task is not running after closing Vivaldi in Windwow task manager.
Sometimes it need a few minutes until all tasks are closed or a zombie process is still running.Cheers, mib
