@Rexfahrer Look how happy I am about this information!
-
-
@Vort On Windows, I can see the blue selection rectangle during drag but not after released the mouse to drop the tab in place. Maybe report it in the Mac forum and see if anyone else can reproduce it.
Please see How to Report a Bug.

Since I think this bug is important, I made a video with reproduction:

@vort: That video requires a google login

[Quick Commands] Search with nickname and default search engine includes nickname in the search string (VB-74655)
Great! (Now lemme disable non-keyword search )
[Address bar][Regression] Looses highlight for a brief moment when opening tab (VB-77578)
(but is still focused even with focus page content on new tab)
-
So now the keyboard nav focus border is on the
.thumbnail-image
element instead of.dial
as I believe it used to be. Which makes things ugly when you want some padding between the image and dial edge:I really want the images padded otherwise some thumbnails come all the way to the edge which again is ugly.
I guess I could always add padding to the
thumbnail-image
instead but that would make the thumbs smaller... and margins are outside the elements so can't be styledThe
box-shadow
being set onthumbnail-image
also creates a similar problem if you use padding on the dials.EDIT: Fixed it by moving most of the styling to the
thumbnail-image
element instead of thedial
element, although semantically it would make more sense to style the dial itself and not the image. -
I'm still having problems with tiles and opening tabs from them - VB-77344
Would be nice to see that fixed before general release.

Great,
thank you, we are so happy to see our native language "kabyle" in Vivaldi browser. -
what happened with smooth animations of tabs reordering?

updated fine -
Hey, I’m seeing frequent crashes with this snapshot and the prior one on the M1—sometimes bad enough that I can’t reopen Vivaldi without a reboot. Also the lingering video issues that have existed even in the Intel version.
Just flagging as they were causing me problems today.

They had wrong logic.
Tab was "unpinned" when dragging starts, then, when dragging ends, pinned back at previous position and moved with animation to new position.
It is better to have no animation than such broken one.
However I prefer more previous approach (without blue dashed rectangle) - the present one reminds me Windows 95 era, when only borders of windows were moved during dragging. -
@boruta Snapshot vs Stable
Install the Snapshot as a Standalone Version so that it does not interfere with your settings for the Stable release.
