VIVALDI SHOULD USE OPERA EXTENSIONS
-
Is there any way of adding an extension from Opera to this Vivaldi browser? If not then can Vivaldi start to allow us to use the Opera extensions either manually or via the Opera store just like Yandex does? Who in their right mind wants to use Googleplay which decides what you can and cannot download? So for example I want a reliable video downloader extension which can download from Youtube but Google doesn't allow such an extension. Opera extensions have no censorship restriction. Forcing people to use google extensions is vile and not a good method of trying to distance a browser away from vile Chrome. Talking about Chrome I find it annoying that they've stole their new menu design from Maxthon even though its a better menu. If we want to move away from the Chrome looks and more then we need to allow Opera extensions ideally as default rather than Google crap.

Install Tampermonkey from the Google store.
Tampermonkey allows you to use custom javascript snippets on webpages.
Then install a script which allows you to download from youtube.example: https://greasyfork.org/it/scripts/1317-download-youtube-videos-as-mp4
