Friday poll: How do you access your bookmarks?
-
I use the address field for the most frequently visited sites, and then the bookmarks menu if I know the category but can't remember the name. If I need to search properly I use the panel and if I need to organise bookmarks I use the bookmarks manager. I also use the Speed Dial of course, but only for the top 10 sites.
This really should've been multiple choices

So, you know these sites names, right?
-
@Stardust the bookmarks menu button on the addressbar.

@jane-n
it is very difficult to choose exactly one feature.
frequent bookmarks via bookmark bar and speeddial and less frequent ones via bookmark panel or quickcommand.
so what should I vote for? -

My comment on the poll page - I really like this thought:
"I don't use bookmarks" because they are inaccessible on my iPhone, and at those times I have to use some other browser. I save them all on a custom web page, accessible anywhere! And the protected ones are in LastPass, also accessible anywhere.
Just had a thought... Sync already has the ability to store and share bookmarks. Could it have an option to share them with a custom web page, that would log into sync like another computer, but be accessible anywhere? Either on my host, or actually hosted by Vivaldi? Would make adding new bookmarks to the custom page so much easier!

I access via the Context Menu, well technically its the Menubar in the context menu :
-
@ch3f interesting approach!

Start page or [Ctrl]+[B]

Quickest way is to use quick commands and nicknames. A few keys to press, no clicking, no need to look at anything. E.g. open Vivaldi Forum with the sequence
oviv + enter
. Would be even faster by opening on nickname match, but I somehow donβt like that. -
@luetage with QC I think the quick would be to have indicator numbers down the left or right (css customizable of course) like Alfred on Mac, then just tap the number corresponding to
whatever it is you want to launch and it launches instantly, no need to hit the enter key.Seriously, for me that means, a 3-finger swipe down to open QC and tap a number, nothing more, to easy.

Like others I use multiple methods to access bookmarks so I haven't voted.
I find it hard to believe anyone can get by using a single way only? Weird(!)
-
Non-voter here as well. I access bookmarks from the bookmarks bar. And the bookmarks panel. And the Speed Dial. It depends entirely on what is the quickest route within my workflow at that moment.

@derDay
You could vote for the one you use most and/or like the best.
