Which Adblock

Which Adblock is recommended for Vivaldi. I have found enough But I want to be sure what is suggested by the official Vivaldi. I have found an article for this issue but in Greek language with the title
«Η έκδοση του προγράμματος περιήγησης Vivaldi καταπολεμά τις καταχρηστικές διαφημίσεις» -
This is strongly recommended not only by me: uBlock Origin
-
@Dancer18 Thank you for telling me your opinion, but why do you consider the rest in this category inferior

Oh, there may be others of equal value. uBO has been recommended to me.
And it's the first time I don't see any ads at all, and I don't get any prompts from media sites to turn off the adblocker.
uBO apparently succeeds in hiding from these sites.I have yet to encounter a more effective adblocker.
BTW: It seems to make sense to disable Vivaldi's internal adblocker when using external ones.
Sorry that I don't understand Greek language.

@texnologia , uBO in my opinion is the most efficient adblocker and it is the one I use as well. On Android, although Vivaldi Movil also includes an adblocker, while it doesn't support extensions, I also use Blokada. This also not only blocks online ads, but also those that may be in installed apps.

As all Ad blockers are extensions, Vivaldi will probably not recommend one "officially".
Vivaldi has its own Ad blocker (and Tracker blocker) - see Settings/Privacy -
@TbGbe , naturally, you can even add uBO filters to Vivaldi's ad and trackerblocker. But the uBO extension has a function that Vivaldi does not (yet) have and that is to be able to selectively block an item from the context menu, apart from offering a detailed list of blocked sites.
-
@Catweazle Yes, but we are users.
@texnologia was asking for an official Vivaldi recommendation, I was just saying that I don't think he will get one.
-
@TbGbe , as I said, the recommendation would be to add the uBO filters to the Vivaldi adblocker, with this he will have full protection.

uBlock Origin is the of the all addons out there imo.
And BTW it was the first addon supported by Firefox for AndroidIn the next few weeks, uBlock Origin will be the first add-on to become available in the new Firefox for Android.
