Accessing RSS without Mail Account?

Is it possible to access RSS feeds without setting up a mail account?
I'm just starting to test RSS as a heavy RSS user and I'm certainly not ready to begin working with mission critical e-mail. I added a feed through the feed interface, but I can't see the feed output anywhere. When I look at mail, it just says to add my first mail account. But I don't want to add a mail account at this stage, just access the RSS output. Heck even when I'm ready to go to production, I wouldn't merge the two as they are very different use cases for me. I'd separate them into different profiles.
What am I missing?

I just tried this and yes, it actually does not work. But you can add your vivaldi mail account, which was created anyway.also feel free to upvote this feature request although a vivaldi programmer has already promised this function

@NemoAnonymous Please try the following workaround:
Settings --> Mail --> Mail Settings: "Turn Mail Client off" : enable
At once you will see the fetched feeds. -
@mottenmouse
don't work for me? I get only a strange "thing" in the middle -
@derDay my view without any mail account:
Please try (not tested):
Create a mail account with:
Settings --> Mail --> Mail Settings: "Turn Mail Client off" : enableIf still no mails are displayed, deactivate the above setting. As soon as a mail is retrieved, the mails should be displayed. then deactivate the mail retrieval again.

@mottenmouse
with a mailaccount I have no problems with the feeds (at my mainaccount, this is my configuration).
but with both two test profiles I only get the panel shown above, when I added a rss feed. either this one or the panel with please create a mail account if I have disabled the mailclient(and now I've the bug, that I can't delete a rss feed )

- Confirmed your behaviour with 3.6.2165.32 (x64) Windows 10.
- my picture comes with 3.6.2165.34 (x32) Windows 10.
Sorry no more ideas.

@mottenmouse
don't worry, I only tested your suggestions I'm fine with my configuration -
Thanks everyone! I also confirm that neither disabling nor disabling/re-enabling the mail client resolved the issue. I've gone ahead and submitted bug VB-76454 for my issue. I didn't attempt to replicate the issue @derDay saw, so you may want to submit a seperate bug for not being able to delete the feed if you haven't already.

@NemoAnonymous Please try the following workaround:
Settings --> Mail --> Mail Settings: "Turn Mail Client off" : enable
At once you will see the fetched feeds.These are not separately switchable. All I see is "Mail, Calendar, and Feeds are Turned Off". It is not possible to turn them on independently.

@frisket Yes, you do have to enable Mail, Calendar, and Feeds, but you do not have to set up any mail accounts. Just add whatever feeds you want.
Currently, Feeds show up in the Mail Panel, as well as in the Feeds Panel, but you can remove the Mail Panel icon from the toolbar from the right-click customise toolbars menu.

@Pesala Thank you, that worked. But I would support an move to disassociate the three services.

@frisket Vote for the feature request linked to above — Fully Split Mail and Feed Reader.
It is not a bug, just a feature that the Vivaldi Team have not yet had time to include.
-
@Pesala Thanks, I hadn't spotted that there was a vote.

@frisket Vote for the first post in that thread if you haven't already done so. (Voting again will remove your vote).
