@ian-coog: Yes, yes you are!

Undocumented fix: now going back to speed dial, the address field is correctly focused now (VB-75812 was my report)
-
[Address bar] The initially typed characters can get lost (VB-76294)
-
[Keyboard][Gestures] Missing entries (VB-75942)
-
@potmeklecbohdan Sorry, Bit overwhelmed with lock down and having two small kids running riot at home.

Thank you for new snapshot! Great work!
Just a reminder: BUG 242 isn't fixed yet. Calendar dates displayed a day before.

For 3.6 stable, can you revert the top left application icon back to static red, independent of OS theme or Vivaldi theme or whatever it depends on?? Fresh OS & Vivaldi stable and icon is always gray like in Snapshot version. Doesn't matter which theme I choose.
But, the taskbar icon is static red for stable and static gray for snapshot. One application with two different icons is mess.
I'm sorry but the decision to change icon color was silly.

[Private Window] Update the icon (VB-38446)
I like the new ghost icon a lot more than the old fingerprint. Fingerprint evokes a sense of "you can be identified". The new ghost is more like "this is ephemeral and hidden".

(I found different posts - already in 2018 - about this but I don't know if a VB already exists) -
install-vivaldi.sh still fails:
bash-5.1$ cd Programming/vivaldi/
bash-5.1$ ls
install-vivaldi.sh* vivaldi-snapshot_3.6.2165.26-1_amd64.deb
install-vivaldi.sh.asc
bash-5.1$ ./install-vivaldi.sh -v 3.6.2165.26
Using files from local package "./vivaldi-snapshot_3.6.2165.26-1_amd64.deb"Failed verifying signature for vivaldi-snapshot (3.6.2165.26-1) for x86_64; exiting!
bash-5.1$ -
@LonM Uh, when you are putting it this way the fingerprint was more fitting…

What about your GMail issues with the mail client? Are your issues with Google solved? I know that there is a "less secure app" workaround for GMail, but is there a better solution as of now?
-
@matsbtegner: The signature was updated some time back. Not sure why you would not have the new one, it should have been installed by one of the older packages. Nonetheless you can fetch it here (over https), import it into gpg and it and it should then work
-
Ok, I see what the issue is. It looks like I did not update
https://downloads.vivaldi.com/snapshot/install-vivaldi.sh.asc
I have done this now and asked one of the sysadmin to clear the cache on it. Wait a bit and fetch it again. It should then allow you to verify the script.
