@lamarca Basically you have JES2 and send the Job via NJE to SPOB. AFAICR you will not be receiving any feedback with that method.
Update: and the Parm is XEQ
-
@kahukura Hey.
Your replies are the best. The output may or not be sent to you.
I am about to retired. -
Can you change the job prty on the exec. queue?
comment: as we both are not keen on chat, this is the place
-
Yes you can but only locally. Use E jobname,srvclass=... or (if your RACF staff has put some stones in the way) $TJ(name or number),srvclass=..
-
@kahukura So the RACF are the .... you know. Currently I work on that team. Over 1.00O.000 profiles. My fav is CICS.
Did you know our fellow @Gwen-Dragon has an impressive background?
. -
@kahukura You (your userid) can change the Prty?
-
@lamarca Yes, I have some workarounds for this and that. Do you use IRRDBU00 and work with the profiles?
-
@kahukura Nope! It's cheaper to list the RACF DB using Easytrieve. Do you?
-
@lamarca Where are our fellow? Tell us, Lilo, magnetic tape
-
I wonder how do you pronouce IRRDBU00 in Germany.
-
@lamarca ET is causing extra Money (Broadcom Soft).
-
@lamarca IRRDDBU00 (Eee Arr Arr Dee Bee You ..). I wonder how that constellation works with ET but sure, it does. Our colleagues do rely on the unload utility and so do I (sometimes) with my SORTs.
-
@kahukura We call {root chen} and I am strongly users run the utility. Some smart guys submit 4 or 5 few minutes before going home. See?
-
@lamarca I know too well running anything before leaving the house. Presently we have restrictions not to do anything serious after Fri Noon.
-
@kahukura I mean, the smart guy, submit a bunch of heavy job, they don't want to wait.
-
-
@lamarca A heavy job I would call some of my reports I did some time ago. Now I just do them for me to learn and improve.
-
@kahukura Are you an advanced auditor?
-
@lamarca Regular User.
User is a swearword to denote people who want useful output from the computer they paid for
