At first I kinda really like the browser.Bugs:
- copy to clipboard of selected URL in Addressbar is not working for me.
- rearranging Bookmarks is not working well, neither working at all.
Feature-Requests:
- extensibility with plugins as like in Firefox or Chrome (e.g. AdBlocker, Ghostery, a.s.o)
I'm thinking you probably need to go to the Team Blog https://vivaldi.net/blogs/teamblog and get the latest snapshot, because we have not had the bug of "unable to copy addressbar to clipboard" bug for several snapshots, now., plus, most Chrome extensions are working in Vivaldi now, including with badge appearance next to the search bar.
Also, pet peeve of mine: One does not extend the browser with "plugins." One does so with extensions. Plugins and extensions are distinct and different animals, and the proper term should be used.

A problem I've been finding annoying and can't find a way to fix it is, when Vivaldi launches, it doesn't open in full screen. The other thing is it doesn't appear to be able to allow me to swipe back a page as other browsers do. Maybe it's me but maybe you can help me there. Cheers

At the moment, Vivaldi can only open maximized if you set it to "open with last session."
I'm not sure what you mean my swiping unless you are using a touch-screen device, which I am not, so I will leave that for someone else.

Hello, thanks for the reply. All of a sudden, Vivaldi seems to open full screen now so it looks like the last update has fixed the problem for me.
The swipe I mentioned is where in Safari or Chrome browsers, I can swipe left to right on the trackpad on my Macbook and Safari and Chrome will go back one page. The same also happens if I do the opposite… right to left goes forward a page.
In Vivaldi, I seem to be able to go forward or back a page by clicking the back or forward < > buttons.
I can say I am very much impressed with the way Vivaldi is improving with each update and disclose to being my replacement for the Chrome application. -
Oh, and one other useful suggestion… Can we have open all tabs in the tabs? I do a daily job search and I tend to open up all 35... yes, 35 sites at the one time in Safari and Chrome. Until the most resent update to Safari, only Chrome could hand;e that as Safari would crash but with the latest version, it handles the task well. I have only once been able to get multiple tabs to open in Vivaldi and I can't remember how I did it :~( If there is a way then I'd like to know.
Thank you for your patience with my posts -
One more suggestion… When I use Vivaldi on my Macbook I open it to fill the screen to maximise what I am looking at. The big problem is the app does not remember the way I last used it as other apps and browsers do so each time Vivaldi opens, I have to resize it to fill the screen Now, I'm not selecting it open full screen where the bar at the top disappears but to simply leave the top bar in place but fill the rest of the screen. If you hold down the, I think it is the alt key, and drag the Vivaldi app to a larger size it's supposed to reopen in the way I resized before but that is not happening. It seemed to work ok twice in a row but it has returned to its old ways. Is it a bug that is causing this or is it something that, so far, Vivaldi doesn't support?
You will find this has been asked about in another top post in the Mac section. -
There is already a bug reporter and feature report forum thread.

You will find this has been asked about in another top post in the Mac section.Yes, it's a well- known and much commented-on (several times a day) bug that at the moment the only way to open Vivaldi in the same size and position it was when you closed it, including maximized, is to set it to "Start With Last Session."
