@Stardust Why don’t you move the mail icon from the status bar to the address bar?
What!? Without mods?
-
@Stardust You can move icons from status bar to address bar without mods, just shift & drag.
-
@hlehyaric but the mail icon is not on the status bar (bottom panel)
-
@Stardust There's a mail status icon in status bar.
-
@hlehyaric ahh, it was hidden for some reason, I can see it after panel reset.
There is no indicator though
-
@Stardust Check if you have it enabled in mail settings.
-
@potmeklecbohdan
They are enabled
-
@Stardust The mail icon only appears on the first Vivaldi Window opened.

ok, so it couldn't be used as an indicator right now it seems.

Thank you for the update!
To be honest, I've never used RSS before, but now tried this youtube subscription and it looks really handy. However, I found two inconveniences:
- The videos does not play in full screen. Thus, I still need to open the youtube page if I do not want to watch them in a small window. Would it be possible to enable full screen playing directly from the RSS viewer?
- For me, the date of the videos are completely messed up. They are sorted in a random order, and the dates displayed have apparently nothing to do with the actual publication dates on youtube.
-
if anyone is wondering what kind of mess is actually happening on YT:
proper link tag is only added when server side rendering and then it is never removed or updated... and the same seems to be happening to a lot of other tagsand to make it even worse it appears that channels with names in addresses don't have channel id anywhere in the available code, and obviously to get the feed you need channel id, not the name...
EDIT: okay, you can use the name too with
user=
instead -
@Zsul Hello Zsul, if you're interested, there is a feature request for the video being played in full screen.
-
@Ornorm Thanks! I voted for it.
-
I REALLY needed this feature after YouTube decided to stop sending mails for each recent video.
Thanks guys
