Things that does not works
-
Hello, I'm currently testing Vivaldi browser. It is good, but I observed this standard things, that does not works: 1) Cannot exit finding on page with [Esc]. 2) Cannot zoom in/out/set defautl zoom with [Ctrl + Num+/Num-/Num0] 3) [Ctrl + E] does not jump into search bar, like it should do. (Opera did and do, FF, Chrome, IE, also Windows Explorer do and many other windows program do.) 4) [Ctrl + PgDn/PgUp] does not switch card to right (bottom)/left (up) like it should do. (Also standard feature.) 5) Cannot reveal search options in focused search bar with [Alt + Down]. This all does not work probably because UI is written in JavaScript... Here are some other things: 6) [Ctrl + Tab] shouldn't immediately switch card, but only focus it in card list and show preview. It should switch only after [Ctrl] is dropped. Look how works [Alt + Tab] in Windows or [Ctrl + Tab] in FF. 7) I don't know why, but [AltGr + F] reveal/hide status bar. It is bad to make some keyshortcut with [AltGr] as it is used to write special characters with it!!! When status bar is hidden, nowhere is displayed link location on focusing... Look at Chrome/FF how it is done. It is not needed have on notebook revelaed status bar all the time to view sometimes link locations. But keep it up, it looks good in other things. Cheers and waiting for beta

Thanks for reply, I checked latest Windows snapshot.
1. Ok
2. Ok
3. [F8] focus adress bar… But that is not point. [Ctrl + E] is for jumping to sEarch bar across many Windows programs – it is standard way to do it, when program have some search bar. Also every browser do this, except Vivaldi now. I know I can change key shortcut, but this is not my specific keyword shortcut for my personal use, many users who uses effectively keyboard know that shortcut on Windows. [Ctrl + E] should be default, the only another one option is [Ctrl + K] (Works in FF and Chrome.), So search bar could have calmly two key shortcuts. I believe that it is not good way to introducing new non-standard key shortcut for standard routines with their own standard key shortcuts. But it is only my opinion…
4. Not available yet. Does same as [PgDn/PgUp].
5. Ok. But when adress bar is in bottom, search providers menu is displaying below search bar (sou outside of the screen) instead of above it.
6. Great. Sorry.
7. That have nothing to do with 3. It is sick that AltGr is used as key shortcut for some routine. If you know, AltGr is Alternative Graphics and shall not to be used for key shortcuts inside programs. This default shortcut must choose someone, who don't type perhaps any of these characters: #&@{}Đ[]ł$ߤ÷×<>*€. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AltGr_key#Function
Also, if you look at default shortcuts, you found out that this is the only key shortcut, that uses [AltGr].And what about 8 (from previous post)?
9. [Alt] alone does not reveal menu.
10. When adress bar is positioned to bottom, list panel to the left, native windows look used, there are two window top bars, one native and one-native without function. (see screenshot in attachments)
11. Cannot reveal hidden task bar on right side when Vivaldi windows is maximalized.

The standard way since Opera's early days was Shift F8 (see the 9.20 Compatible keyboard) Ctrl E was introduced later to keep FF users sweet, but I have used that shortcut for Compose Email since I started using Opera 5, but it doesn't matter since anyone can customise the keyboard to suit themselves.

Agreed. This is broken at the moment. Probably been reported already. It's not finished software.
7. That have nothing to do with 3.AltGr_key#Function
It has everything to do with it. Nobody outside of Europe even has a AltGr key. You don't cripple the software to suit 10% of the market. Alt + Key is not recommended either because it's reserved for Access keys on the menu bar (not working right yet), but one can use Alt + Letter as shortcuts if we don't use the menu bar, and Alt P is the default for settings. It makes the program more flexible. If you don't like it, you can change it. That's the beauty of customisable software. You cannot please everyone, so let them customise it then everyone can be happy if they want to be. Everything's amazing, but some people are never happy.
And what about 8 (from previous post)?
How about fixing your post to use a numbered list instead of smileys?
9. [Alt] alone does not reveal menu.
A known issue.
10. When adress bar is positioned to bottom, list panel to the left, native windows look used, there are two window top bars, one native and one-native without function. (see screenshot in attachments)
Probably a known bug. Of no interest to me personally.
11. Cannot reveal hidden task bar on right side when Vivaldi windows is maximalized.
No problem here. Probably you mean fullscreen, not maximised. It's not supposed to show the taskbar on autohide. Opera 12.17, Firefox, and IE11 don't either. Use the Win key, or try the Chromeless UI mode (Ctrl F11).

Hey man, everyone who have right Alt or at least left Alt alongside with Ctrl, have AltGr. That key is not everytime as AltGr on keyboard…

You are wright, that is in the latest snapshot. (I do not realize that after upgrade from TP4, where these shortcuts are not set.)
8. See this post.
Cool, thanks.
