"Ghost" scrollbar
-
I like to see loaded pages without vertical or horizontal borders, bars, panels, scrollbars and similar that diminish the enjoyment of the page... And there is an extension in Opera I think would be useful integrate in Vivaldi. With this extension when I want to scroll a page, simply use the central mouse wheel or move the mouse at the edge of the page to see appearing a semitransparent scrollbar (vertical or horizontal) above the page, and when I move the mouse pointer out the scrollbar area or pass 2 seconds (for example) of inactivity and the scrollbar disappear. Thanks. Attachments: ,

I recommend Modern Scroll extension. You can install it by downloading it from here by pressing "View Raw". Then open extensions page in Vivaldi, drag'n'drop the downloaded .crx file there and say yes to install. Done. It was originally done for the new Opera, but for some reason it's unavailable now in their extensions store.
I used it in Opera 12 and luckily was able to install it in Vivaldi. What you described in your post can be done there — it's highly customizable.

It's unavailable in Opera Store cause I moved it into Chrome Web Store for a broader audience. It's easily installable in every Chromium-based browser that way.
