Not sure if this is considered bug but:
If you click once on the url to select all then click again to select none and finally you change the focus away from the address bar (ie: press escape) the url will no longer be highlighted until you reload the page or the url gets updated when you navigate to another place, this will also stop the url crop function (Ctrl+hover) from underlining the selected parts of the address bar.
Afaik is not a regression as i think it was doing the same on other snapshots but i wasn't sure how to replicate the issue as is not something that happens frequently.

@Sdar I can confirm this. And it's definitely a regression from Stable (which is what matters here). Please report it
-
@Pathduck Thanks for confirming, report reference is VB-72944.
-
@gwen-dragon: but not for Win10... sigh
-
Woohoo, thanks for the media fixes on macOS!

I am having trouble with this build as well as the three previous builds.
I can't login to this site (to post this comment) in incognito mode.
Secondly on this site in incognito mode:
https://biqle.ru/watch/-120361779_456240814If you change the resolution or the volume and refresh the page, it doesn't "stick" but reverts to default values. It used to remember it for that session.
Also you can't change the volume with the mouse, it just ignores the dragging motion. very odd bug.
Can anyone confirm these bugs?

@Gwen-Dragon
But still no sound on videos on Instagram and other websites. One day, maybe... -
Any reason why a trailing slash goes missing from a base URL when typing in the address bar? I have not noticed this before, and I do not like this at all, as I would typically like to edit the link when clicking the address bar (instead of using Ctrl+L) and I do not want to add a "/" that belongs to the URL.
Reported as VB-72921
-
@jumpsq You mean this? Vivaldi removes trailing slash when editing URL, stop please? Reported by @Gwen-Dragon
Additionally >90% of the text in the Settings->Address Bar section is not indexed in order to be searchable via the search textbox.
-
This version is fantastic. You appear to have made speed improvements. The whole browser seems much more responsive. Great work!
-
@floweringmind: Sounds great, can't wait for stable, i would try it, but i just clean install both OS systems to get UEFI support, so i will just wait than.

No problems here - did you disable 3rd party cookies?

@tbgbe: It worked fine a few builds ago. for years.
something definitely changed on Vivaldi's end.
-
@TheDragonReborn Well, I just tried https://biqle.ru/watch/-120361779_456240814 again in Stable Vivaldi (3.3.2022.47 ) and I cannot change volume with the slider!?
So, I don't believe it's a "regression" in Snapshot(s).
-
@tbgbe: I've been using it everyday...it always worked. so it's just recently broken.
It's only broken in incognito mode... how that should effect a volume slider I have no idea...
