@newscpq I can't reproduce here. Your instructions make little sense, as when starting a Private window, there will be no cookies, so the "Delete all cookies" button is disabled. You'd need to browse a couple of sites to create cookies first.
I assume you're talking about in the latest snapshot, since this is the snapshot release thread?
Try to reproduce in a clean profile, by opening a private window there.
A screen recording of the crash would help too. -
@jon Good to know M3 will again use a plain mail storage format. It's both machine readable by any "reputable" software and it's also human readable on occasions like when I've needed to delve into my mail files a few times.
Of course, anything is better than the proprietary garbled mess of e.g. Outlook files, where you need tricks and community-created tools to extract your own data for export...

it's not dead yet!
It feels better. It feels happy. It might go for a walk...

@luetage: Good. The concept of feeds is just so important. The trend has been towards AI news, but I still believe it is in our own best interest to get a broader set of news. The feeds are there and we aim to make them easier to access in your favorite browser.
-
@mossman: Indeed.
-
@npro: Yes, grep is a wonderful thing.
That being said. The search in M3 is pretty good as well.
-
@holly: I feel for you. I have never felt comfortable with Webmail. I get a lot of mail and I need a client that can deal with that. I used M2 until I was able to move over to M3. You will be able to do so soon as well, I believe. More and more of the Sopranos and internal testers are reporting that they feel M3 is ready for TP status. I still feel there are a few issues to work on, but we are getting close.

I've marked it in my diary for Thursday, just after lunch.

@Steffie , I wish. It will take a bit longer than that. In any case we are talking about a TP and not a full release. That being said, I think we are weeks away and not months.
-
@jon So for Oktoberfest, we don't have to wait for the guy in the red suit using reindeer?
-
@TbGbe No promises, but we are getting really close.
-
@durtro: i just confirmed also that note bugs on Windows 10

Is there RC on horizon, Chrome 86 is out?

Chrome is Google, Chromium-based browsers follow about 10-15 days (Vivaldi) to more than 3+ weeks later (Chinopera ), this pre-covid. Others not at all in that timeframe (yandex, maxthon iirc). First time hearing that?

@mossman grep here I come \o/ Plain text, the beauty of Linux. Thank you @jon .
Or in my case...
Edit: but to be honest, M2 would do the job better - I only really needed to go in manually a couple of times when I needed to fix the database I had screwed up (lost connections while accessing mail over LAN).
-
I get the "Error: Upload Failed" when I try to upload image on vivaldi.net
-
@mossman O12 still got it!
(surprised it found 53 matches for that...)
-
@mossman Any word on M3?
