Vivaldi OS?
-
@Gwen-Dragon Could you pretty please split this off-topic? How is an argument about using the forum etc (no, I haven’t read it all) related to the idea of something called ‘Vivaldi OS’?
-
@potmeklecbohdan AND additionally, please would the Moderators finally remove this unambiguous troll from the forum? It's unbelievable that it continues to receive implicit permission [repeated warnings are demonstrably useless in this case]. Its incessant trolling is met not with a ban, but perversely just ongoing community engagement. Have people forgotten the maxim about not feeding trolls?

So cruel... Can at least the zookeeper feed them?
-
@potmeklecbohdan Zookeeping can be inherently a dangerous pursuit. All over the world, now & then, zookeepers have been seriously injured & even killed by the wild beasts they sought to keep captive. Other times, the prime hazard seems instead to be the constant emission of nasty toxins that steadily poison all surroundings...
-
@Steffie - what exactly was this thread all about?
-
@danielson A truly excellent question, to which i can merely respond honestly with...
-
@Gwen-Dragon ONLY if you pl-ease explain to us ... what is it?
-
@Steffie Vivaldi OS, or GNU/Vivaldi as purists would like to call it, it a fully libre operating system that is/will be developed by vivaldi⸮
Given current developer resources, it will be available for technical preview in about 100 years time, long after any of our current computers that could run it will cease to function⸮
-
@LonM Heehee, any word on M3 in it?
-

Now, after some jokes let us go back to Topic "Vivaldi OS".
But please please please finally split all the off-topic… There’s 90 % of off-topic, 9 % of asking for the off-topic to be split & 1 % on-topic… (hyperbole included in the stats)
-
@potmeklecbohdan IMO your stats are wrong. It was 146% OT.
-
@Steffie You can have it, in exchange for... a shrubbery!

Open a new thread on M3
Actually, the established practice iirc is to wait for each new Snapshot blog post, then immediately ask the question in it... "Any word on M3?". Every single Snapshot, :face_with_stuck-out_tongue_winking_eye:
Yes, i might just be trolling a certain someone here...
-
@Steffie "Any word on M3" would be more fun than "First!"
-
@LonM Nii !!

Sorry, too lazy now.
The OP will be surprised… but I think this is a better solution.
-
@Gwen-Dragon I do like a nice bush...
-
@LonM , in 100 years we have a Vivaldi plug-in for our brain (micro USB in our neck), shure.
-
@Catweazle Micro USB? Not Mini? A? B? SS? C? 2? 3?
We think we have it bad now with hardware incompatibility, just wait until we start shoving this stuff inside our bodies
-
@LonM ,...and Vivaldi freeze
