Solved How to Block Extensions From Accessing Critical Websites like bank
-
how can i do this in vivaldi itself?
it's okay with this extension wich is i can block another extensions from accessing any critical websites but the extension itself have access to my websites so i want this feature in vivaldi.if it has already built in please tell me how

An easy way to achieve that is to use the private mode (private window) to access your bank. Extensions are disallowed to run on private mode by default.
Of course it isn't the same feature but it'll have the same practical effect.

@JohnConnorBear yeah but i just want that feature bro, without making new profiles in any case.

@JohnConnorBear i mean i'm gonna use that not just for bank account/security but for some sites that could not working because of any extensions and i want not to disable that.
so i wanna keep use any extensions for some domain and disable that on any websites that i want not accessed by any extensions, just that, thanks -

Edit: I misunderstood a feature in Chromium.
Vivaldi should let users block an extension's access to a site!

@poopooracoocoo said in How to Block Extensions From Accessing Critical Websites like bank:
In Chromium you can just right click on the extension in the toolbar to control its access to the site you're currently on:
That doesn't seem to stop the extension from running and interacting with the website anyway.Nevermind it works after I restarted the browser.

@rluik but it's an allowlist and not a blocklist like I mistakenly thought. Vivaldi should definitely bring it back though, even if it's already accessible at vivaldi://extensions, as it makes it easier to access.
