Slow on the comments today

@ruarí: Hmm strange.
-
@Ruarí Good grief!
I've just finished rebooting my Arch Tower after the weekly updates, which did not include a new SS, only to now find this! Amazeballs! Guess i need to go watch
herecura
, although i suppose a watched herecura never boils.
... AND, it just arrived. Yippee.

super very second

Slow on the comments today
Early Sunday morning in Europe, middle of the night in the Americas...
-
The initial restart produced very strange misbehaviour. Several of my extensions stopped working, not necessarily only but certainly including Cookie AutoDelete, Custom Style Script, Vivaldi Forum mod. After a further relaunch they seem to be ok again, but i want to watch them a bit more...
-
@Ruarí Hey, I just woke up and still drinking my coffee
Anyway I have no update notification in my systray, updating manually form menu. -
This is yet another snapshot where this WebRTC setting became reenabled by itself -- i've lost count now of how many snapshots this has occurred with.

whole page blocking (used in some rules)
Please could you kindly expand a little more on the purpose of this? Atm i don't understand under what circumstances i might wish to block 100% of a page, yet still have that page open.
-
@Steffie Why exactly is WebRTC negative for you?
-
Great a sunny sunday update...

WebRTC
there are privacy issues, when you have WebRTC enabled, see wiki
-
@stardepp Hello, sorry but i'm unsure if i am correctly understanding your question. If you are asking why i dislike it & prefer it disabled, then it's because it is a privacy-violating hazard.
-
@Steffie None of my extensions disabled/stopped working.
Although, of those you list, I only have Vivaldi Forum Mod.Also, my WebRTC setting was not re-enabled (I have disabled extension control and am only using Vivaldi control atm see https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/43167/can-webrtc-be-disabled/27 ).

@TbGbe That rotten Coriolis Force strikes again!
-
After updating I noticed one of the hooks in VivaldiHooks cause the new tab speed dial to only show the splashscreen. Not a Vivaldi bug but I reported it to @den_po
https://github.com/justdanpo/VivaldiHooks/issues/41 -
@steffie: I do not have any insight, but I'd guess it's blocking embedded frames, not the top level page.
-
checks calendar It's a Sunday? You all took a weekend break, right?
Also, congrats on passing 2000 official builds!
-
@LonM Is it 2001 builds? I thought it’s the 2001st day. I’m confused now.
